Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Tristan's Deal or No Deal Game Report 30/09/09

Noel says he wants to pay all possible tributes to Suzi for the fantastic game she gave yesterday, and he talks about the decisive way she played the game...

Tristan is a carpenter but he'd like to be a maths teacher. His wife is in the audience today, and she says how they met in work. He shows a pic of his daughters and his dog. He has a lucky piece of coal with him, and it once belonged to his father. It's helped him on the lottery but he's won nothing on the lottery!

Tristan has no system.

Round 1
Noel gets out a jester hat for Rob today...

Banker time
Tristan says it's pretty even as both him and the banker have their Power 4 intact.

Noel says that's a cracking offer. Noel wonders if he could keep the show going if someone dealt the 1st offer

Tristan says this means there are more blues to hit. Noel comments how Sid is being picked unusually early in the game.

Banker time
Noel says Tristan's board looks powerful as it has a hole in the middle! The banker says the newbies arrive in 3s, and Tristan is the daddy and took the newbies under his wing... and he told them that today was Naked Newbie Day!

Banker's offer:
£8,800

His wife thinks there's one more round in it. Noel has some banter with Marie about her hair roots, and the banker phones and demands to look at Noel's hair, but he refuses

Noel says Tristan can do the numbers and he'll shout "COME ON"

Noel says Tristan has to find 10p now...

Banker time
Noel says what a round, and comments on the strange configuration now, with the hole in the board! The banker says he won't patronise Tristan as he's a good board reader...

Tristan says it's a fair offer, and Noel agrees. His wife comes down to the pound table and Tristan says he believes he has the £250k in his box.

Noel says he can't tell what Tristan's wife is thinking at the moment!!

Noel says this is one of the unluckiest games for months. The banker says it's inappropriate to gloat, but you can hear him laughing down the phone!

Noel says there's no reason why there can't be a £3k / £5k climax.

Noel says everyone's stunned as we thought he'd deal there! His wife seems irritated that he no dealt, and the banker phones...

Noel says his wife has the same expression again!!

Tristan wins 10p from his box 13.

Noel says that was just bad luck to the end!

Tristan says it's just one of those things, and life goes on...
