Gary's Deal or No Deal Game Report 30/10/09

Noel runs around at the start to try and get away from some ghosts which are stalking him

Today is the last of the Trick and Treat Halloween specials. Noel says at last, we had the TREAT yesterday with Sarah, and says how she would have crashed down to £5,000 had it not been for the extra offers due to the TREAT.

Trick or Treat Twist
The portraits and ashes of the banker's grandparents are on a mantelpiece at the side of the studio. At 5-box, the player gets an opportunity to choose between two urns. If they find the urn that contains a TREAT, there's a wonderful surprise for them, and they get an offer after every box. If the player finds a TRICK, the banker gets to look in the player's box box and there'll be no offer after every box, but they will be guaranteed the SWAP at 2-box.


Gary has box 12.

Gary is a fireman from Lancashire. He says how he got a commendation for bravery when he rescued a woman from a 3-storey block which was on fire, and he had to hold her on a ladder and make sure she didn't fall. He says she later came to the fire station to thank them for rescuing her

Gary speaks about his family and shows some pics. He has a soft toy tiger with him, as his nickname is "tiger baby" as he's a soft fireman!

Sarah's Deal or No Deal Game Report 29/10/09

Noel talks about David's game yesterday and how the Banker doubled his offer in the 5th round, and then increased it again to £40,000, and it was so obvious that the Banker knew David had the £250,000! He then starts shouting and going a little crazy that David should have known he could have had the £250,000!!

Sarah has box 14 today. Sarah says she is in shock that she is playing today as she has only done 20 shows Noel tells her she was well in the radar. Sarah has 2 children, and says she is here today to finance her wedding... We get to see some pictures of her fiance and her children...

Sarah has no idea how she is going to play her game today, but she is keeping box 5 to the end as it means a lot in her life.

David's Deal or No Deal Game Report 28/10/09

Noel says we had an astonishing game with Lillian yesterday, and says how for the 2nd time in a row, the TRICK was found.

David is a kids sports coach mentor from Middlesex. He has no-one in the audience with him today, and explains his dad didn't want to come today. He shows a pic of his mum, dad and brother and another pic of his granddad. He lives in Ireland, so he wants money to go and see him.

Lillian's Deal or No Deal Game Report 27/10/09

Noel says that normally the most important question on the show is Deal or No Deal, but yesterday Hassan's most important question was Swap or No Swap as he found the Trick in the twist and played to end in an all or nothing finish where the SWAP played a big part.

If they find the urn that contains a TREAT, there's a wonderful surprise for them, and they get an offer after every box. If the player finds a TRICK, the banker gets to look in the player's box box and there'll be no offer after every box, but they will be guaranteed the SWAP at 2-box.


Lillian has box 20 today, and she nearly puts the box on the table the wrong way around. She is a lollipop lady and gets a big cheer for that. Noel says that Lillian's list of wants is so long that she had to write it on a toilet roll

We get to see some of Lillian's pics and she also has a lollipop that has Deal/No Deal written on each side Lillian then unrolls her wants list She has £10 for her husband at the very bottom Noel reads through some of the other things that Lillian has on her shopping list....

Hassan's Deal or No Deal Game Report 26/10/09

Hassan's game today for the first of the TRICK OR TREAT Halloween specials all this week.

The titles have been given a very creepy makeover!! We have some spooky new music as well. All the contestants (and Noel!) are dressed as ghosts for these special shows, and the set is suitably dressed. We're also treated to some more spooky sound and visual effects!

Noel says we are not alone here today. We can sense the spirits of the banker's ancestors. Their portraits and ashes are on a mantelpiece at the side of the studio. At 5-box, the player gets an opportunity to choose between two urns. If they find the urn that contains a TREAT, there's a wonderful surprise for them, and they get an offer after every box. If the player finds a TRICK, the banker gets to look in a box and there'll be no offer after every box.

Hassan is originally from Cyprus and used to work in a grocery shop, but now he's a painter/decorator. His wife, son and his son's wife are in the audience today. We get to see some pics of Hassan's grandchildren.

A knight in shining armour comes to take the box away. Noel calls him Sir Deal-a-lot. Noel explains the banker will see the contains of Hassan's box now, but he will be guaranteed the SWAP at 2-box if he plays on.

The box returns with a black seal to show the banker's looked in it. The banker says Hassan has a red in the box and he's not lying in front of his grandparents!

Paul wonders why the banker hasn't offered between £15k and £50k if there's a red in the box, and he thinks the banker's lying. Noel asks some of the other players, and some think he's telling the truth but some don't! The banker phones back and thanks those who thought the banker was telling the truth!

Aurora's Deal or No Deal Game Report 25/10/09

Noel says he thinks this is the perfect time to play the banker, as we're about to start Halloween week from tomorrow. Noel says the banker can be distracted just before a special week, and can make mistakes!

Aurora has box 3. Noel says it was a surprise to see her playing today. Aurora moved to the UK from Nigeria in 1966, and now lives in London. We get to see some very old pics of her family. She has her son in the audience today for support, and she'd like to raise money for her family as well as being able to go on a cruise to meet a toyboy millionaire!

Dan's Deal or No Deal Game Report 23/10/09

Noel says there's a small number of strange people who like to see the expression of the player as they get selected to play! He talks about the various types of reactions...

Dan is from the West Midlands and he is at college studying animal management. He worked in the prison service but fancied a change of career. Noel talks about a chap down the local petrol station who always chats to him about the show, and has a theory that anyone who just goes for it tends to win more money than the ones who think more!

Noel says we've had some interesting games lately. He says he likes to know the players are relaxed and confident, and he asks if Bibs if she's ok as she has a fear of cardboard and is standing by a box! Nicholas' Deal or No Deal Game Report 20/10/09

Noel says we are on a high now after Laura's game where she showed what courage is all about, and he says she has shown up some of the men on the wings who wouldn't have had the same courage. He tells them all to make the most of their moment.

Nicholas has box 11 today. Noel struggles with Nicholas's surname (I won't even attempt ) Nicholas is a hairdresser and has been doing it for over 20 years, he slowly took over his parents salon and now runs it. He has his wife Helen in the audience and says he met her in a fish & chip shop where she was working and fell in love with her. We get to see a couple of his family pics of his two daughters, and also one of his late grandparents.

Nicholas says he is a bit of a gambler.

Noel hopes we are having a spectacular weekend... He reveals that there are 3 romantics on the west wing, Nicholas and Hassan want to renew their wedding vows, and Roy would love to as well but he hasn't had the wedding yet as he couldn't afford it, hopefully his game will change that.

Cal has box 11 today. Cal is from Liverpool and Noel says he is a bird impersonator and asks for his pigeon impression He is actually a waitor and explains a little about his job. Noel asks what his dream is, and Cal would love to open a bar.

Marie's Deal or No Deal Game Report 16/10/09

Noel says how he's only just got his hearing back after Kate's loud game yesterday. He says how the banker passed through the £18 million milestone yesterday. Noel thinks the banker will try to avoid offering money from today.

Marie is a dietician assistant from Wales and he speaks a bit about her job. Her husband Alan is in the audience today, and he says he met her through his work, as she lived in a council house and he went to inspect her chimney. Noel says he also creeped into her bathroom to look for men's toiletries to see if she was single.

She shows a pic of her late grandfather, and has his prayer book with her. She has a poem for the banker which she reads out...

Kate's Deal or No Deal Game Report 15/10/09

Noel talks about the contrasting week we have had so far, with Sharna recovering in her game and knowing when to quit, then Michelle becoming the 23rd member of the 1p club, and then Sid just going to the end regardless, so Noel is not sure what mood the Banker will be in today...

Kate has box 16 today. Kate is a part-time air hostess from Yorkshire, and used to be full-time until she had a baby. She has her partner in the audience for support and he explains how he met her on a flight, although he didn't actually meet her on the flight as he was handed her phone number on a sickbag after he got off the flight

We get to see a few of Kate's photos, one of her and her daughter and another of her late grandparents, she tells Noel how her gran loved Noel and all his shows.

Kate says the numbers don't mean anything to her and she will play a random game.

Sid's Deal or No Deal Game Report 14/10/09

Noel talks about the Dream factory, but how yesterday it was a bit of a nightmare as Michelle went home with 1p and became the 23rd member of the 1p club... He goes along the wings and talks about the dreams of some of the contestants.

Sid has box 20 today. Noel says Sid had him worried by the way he carried his box to the table Sid is from Northampton and is a retired transport manager. Noel reveals a story about how Sid lost some wheels on a truck when he was in the army! He went for a drink at a pub and came back and the truck was on bricks

Noel says how the pilgrims come from a long way, and he thinks today's game will build on Sharna's yesterday. He says she made a mistake as she could've had £20k, but knew when to stop.

Michelle is a mobile hairdresser and she says Noel's hair is pretty good! She's a fan of bingo, and once found £10 whilst walking to a chip shop! Noel goes along the east wing to talk about 4 people who have dreams, Cal would like a string of bars all over the world, Sarah would like a new bathroom, and newbie Owain would like to open his box without problems

Sharna has box 9 today. Sharna is from London and is an admin in customer services, but she loves entertaining and singing... We get to see a few of Sharna's photos, she shows a picture of her partner who died a few years ago and explains how she got over his death and deals with it now. Ginette's Deal or No Deal Game Report 11/10/09

Noel hopes we are having a brilliant weekend, and is trying to forget the heartbreaker game on Friday where Martin took a big gamble at the end, but unfortunately it didn't work out and we ended up with a lot of tears.

Ginette has box 10 today. Ginette is from Tottenham, but is originally from Mauritius, and is a dressmaker. Noel explains that Ginette is made on education and numerous qualifications in dressmaking and other subjects, and she wants to go back to university next year.

Ginette has her daughter in the audience for support today. Ginette says she is here today to get some big money to buy things to send them to charities in Mauritius, she always wants lots of holidays

Ginette says she can't believe she is on Deal or No Deal and her feet aren't on the floor at the moment, and Noel points out that her feet aren't touching the floor as the chair is so high

Stephen's Deal or No Deal Game Report 08/10/09

Noel is still glowing from Mary's game yesterday, where everything went wrong and had a low offer of 64p at one point, but then decided to gamble and turned her game around and went home with £7,000 and a Banker Spanking.

Stephen has box 7 today. Stephen is from Banbury and is a warehouse manager, but previously did some bodyguarding for some celebrities including Jordan, and tells a tale about when he was working for her once. Stephen talks about his wife and how she had a difficult birth with their son and how he would like to help her out with some therapy for her hips.

Mary's Deal or No Deal Game Report 07/10/09

Noel says he wants to reiterate that the players do not know when they are going to play.

Mary has box 18.

Mary puts her box the wrong way round on the table! Mary used to work in teaching cooking, often to people with learning difficulties. She says it was a very rewarding job. Mary has her husband Norman in the audience today, and they've been married for 58 years! He says they met when he was doing an ice-cream round, which he used to do...

Mary shows a picture of Norman with the old ice-cream business and the bike they used with it, and another pic of them on their wedding day... she has a pig ornament with her.

Mary doesn't have a system but has a couple of numbers that mean something to her.
