Abbie's Deal or No Deal Game Report 31/12/09 - Scrooge V Santa

A very smartly dressed Noel welcomes us to the final show of 2009, and he hopes the excesses of Christmas are passing us by and we are getting ready for a new year.

Abbie has box 2 today. Abbie is from Norfolk and is a customer advisor in financial services. Noel asks Abbie if he should call her princess Abbie as she is wearing a tiara today Abbie says she hasn't had a great year and would like to win a nice sum to kick off the new year. We get to see some of Abbie's family photos.

30/12/09 Sanjay's Deal or No Deal Game Report - Scrooge V Santa Special

Noel welcomes us to the last of the Santa vs Scrooge specials. Noel says the Santa vs Scrooge twist has been incredibly influential over the past week, and he runs through some of the games we've had, including how the banker lied to Pommy!

Sanjay has box 17.Sanjay says his dad's English and his mum's Indian, and she broke with tradition by marrying a white man. Sanjay's currently on a graduate programme in banking! We get to see some pics of his mum, dad and aunt, and also another pic of him when he went travelling around the world. He says he'd like to give some money to the people he met when he was travelling.

Santa vs Scrooge 2009 Gameplay:
If a player gets to 5-box, they can open a mince pie, a carrot or a bottle of sherry. There's 1 Scrooge and 2 Santas. If they reveal SANTA, they get an offer after every box and win a holiday for 2. If they find SCROOGE, then the banker looks in their box, their is no offer after every box but a SWAP at 2-box is guaranteed.

Gaz's Deal or No Deal Game Report 29/12/09 - Scrooge V Santa

Noel welcomes us to Santa's workshop, but Noel says he is in a bit of a mood over what happened yesterday in Pommy's game where she found Scrooge, as she had a story where she really could have done with a great game, but the Banker played games and said that he saw the £250,000 in Pommy's box, but he was evil and lied about it!

Gaz has box 8 today. Gary is a railway surveyor, and he explains a little about his job. Noel asks Gaz to explain how he won his wedding, and Gaz says he won it on a local radio station, and part of the prize was he had to get married in 3 days! We get to see a picture of Gaz with his son. Noel reminds Gaz about the gold envelope where he could win a prize for someone in the first round.

Pommy's Deal or No Deal Game Report 28/12/09 Scrooge V Santa Special

Noel says he hopes we're having a fantastic Christmas. Noel says he's fed up with his elves as their present wrapping is rubbish.

Pommy has box 12. Noel says he thought Pommy was going to faint then! She explains where her nickname 'Pommy' came from as it's a shortening of a longer name. She has her mum, cousin and sister in the audience today. Pommy talks about her job, and says she does research in advertising, but would like to train to be a teacher. We get to see some pics of her mum and dad and sisters. Noel says Pommy would like to find a man and she describes what her ideal man would be like, and Noel says she's describing the banker!!

The banker will now get to look in Pommy's box. The snowman comes on set and removes the box to take to the banker! Noel says it's not over yet and the £250k hasn't come to the table for a very long time. The box is returned with the black seal. The banker speaks to Pommy and pays her some compliments, and he said that Pommy has the £250k on the table. She says she's unsure whether to believe him. The banker phones back and says he's told her the absolute truth because he thinks she'll make a deal with him.

The others tell Pommy that's a good offer, and she has 3 boxes to open before the next offer. Pommy says she has a feeling that the banker's telling the truth, and why shouldn't she win the £250k? The banker phones back and tells Pommy please don't no deal!

Franny's Deal or No Deal Game Report 26/12/09 Scrooge V Santa Special

Noel introduces the show from his sleigh again, and says he doesn't go down chimneys due to 'elf and safety'.

Noel says the number 2 was dominant yesterday, as the banker gave Hollie a swap-only offer at 2-box, for only the 2nd time ever, and she won 1p from box 2.

Franny has box 17. Franny's real name is Francis, and he's from Liverpool. He's a porter messenger in the civil service, and is known as the entertainments officer because he gets up to a lot of malarky. He tells a story about how he once accientally nailed someone's boots to the floor! We get to see some pics of Franny's parents, and another pic of him and his wife on their wedding day. He also shows some pics of his step-daughters.

If Franny says NO DEAL, he keeps £15,000. If he says DEAL, Franny will throw 3 snowballs at the chimney. If he gets one in the chimney, then his winnings double to £30,000. If he misses all 3, then the winnings halve to £7,500.

Round 6 (proveout) - part 4 - Banker's Christmas Gamble

We now get to find out what would've happened.

Franny throws the first snowball, and he gets it in! Franny's winnings would've doubled to £30,000, but he said NO DEAL to the Gamble, so his winnings remain at £15,000.

Noel says we respect the fact that Franny couldn't risk the chance to drop back down to £7,500. Noel reveals that Franny has also won a holiday for 2 to Egypt for 1 week from his holiday box he got earlier.

Hollie's Deal or No Deal Game Report 25/12/09 Scrooge V Santa Special

Noel promises us a fantastic game today and wishes us all a merry Christmas

Santa vs Scrooge 2009 Gameplay:
If a player gets to 5-box, they can open a mince pie, a carrot or a bottle of sherry. There's 1 Scrooge and 2 Santas. If they reveal SANTA, they get an offer after every box and win a holiday for 2. If they find SCROOGE, then the banker looks in their box, their is no offer after every box but a SWAP at 2-box is guaranteed.

Hollie has box 11 today. Hollie is from Birmingham and takes 999 calls, and Noel says that she has helped to talk through 15 babies being delivered while taking calls We get to see a few pictures of Hollie's children. She also has some gifts, there are some money cufflinks for the Banker, and some DoND box cufflinks for Noel Hollie says that her husband who is in the audience actually made the cufflinks, and Noel thanks him for the very special gift. Noel talks about the lucky envelope that contains a special gift for one of the contestants if Hollie can find one of the Banker's power5 in the first round

Hollie is keeping box 22 and 2 until the end - These were the numbers that are on Noel's cufflinks, and Hollie tells us the story behind the 2 numbers. The Banker calls and wishes everyone happy Christmas, and says that Hollie's story touched his heart. The Banker says that today's special prize in the opening round is the best one yet.

Bodie's Deal or No Deal Game Report 24/12/09 Scrooge V Santa Special

Noel introduces the show from a sleigh. He says he thought the reindeer were trained!! Noel wishes everyone a Happy Christmas. He runs through the Santa vs Scrooge twist again, and says how Freddie did alright out of it, but Peggy yesterday only won £100 after finding Scrooge.

Santa vs Scrooge 2009 Gameplay:

Bodie has box 9. Bodie's real name is Andrew, and he's a sports coach. He says it's a rewarding job and he loves it! However his dream is to live in Australia, as he has an Australian girlfriend who's in the audience today. Noel attempts an Australian accent. We get to see a pic of his mum, and he explains that she was originally in Australia but hasn't been there for ages.

Box 22 with Vikki contains the £50,000.

Noel reveals that he'd predicted that Bodie would pick box 22, and he thought that's where the £50,000 was!

Peggy's Deal or No Deal Game Report 23/12/09 - Santa v Scrooge

Noel talks about Freddie's game yesterday and says how the centre of the game lies with the Santa vs Scrooge twist. He talks about how the banker was lying but Freddie was victorious by going to the end and swapping for £15,000.

Peggy has box 5. Peggy's real name is Beatrice but people call her Peggy due to a lying aunt! Peggy is retired now but she used to be a machinist and a newsagent owner. She has some banter with Noel about the smutty magazines on the top shelf! She talks about her late husband Tony, and she shows an old pic of herself when she was 17. She says she always has to get someone to say a rude word when she has her pic taken! The banker phones and says he knows what the word is... Noel says it's "bum". We also get to see a pic of her late son and one of his girlfriends, as well as a pic of her grandchildren.

Freddie's Deal or No Deal Game Report 22/12/09 Santa V Scrooge

King Elf Noel welcomes us to Santa's workshop where everyone is really happy as the Banker is being very generous this year, and everything worked out well for Harry yesterday and he went home with a holiday and also £10,000.

Freddie is 96, and Freddie says that is wrong it is 76 He is a retired bus driver and tells a tale of how he rescued a ladies shoe and the papers made a big thing of it and said he was a hero. It is also Freddie's wedding anniversary today Noel reveals that Freddie actually went out with his wife's sister at first before falling in love with his wife. We get to see a picture of Freddie's wife and also the rest of his family.

A snowman appears and takes away Freddie's box so the Banker can look at the contents.

The Banker says he is going to be honest now and tell Freddie the contents of his box, he doesn't want Freddie to win the contents of it.

Noel says the key thing is what did the Banker mean by him not wanting Freddie to win the contents of the box. Freddie asks his granddaughter to join him at the pound table. The Banker calls and asks to speak to Freddie's granddaughter, and tells her Freddie has the £75,000. Freddie asks her what she would do and she tells him she would gamble.

Harry's Deal or No Deal Game Report 21/12/09 - Scrooge/Santa Specials

Today's show is the first of this year's Santa vs Scrooge Christmas specials. The titles and music have been given a Christmassy revamp! The set is decorated out as Santa's workshop, and all the contestants and Noel are dressed as elves! Noel says he's King Elf and he says the person in charge of wrapping in the workshop is useless.

Harry has box 7. Harry, whose real name is John, is a computer operator from Hull. He talks about how he was a forklift operator and had a crash, and on another occasion a forklift truck ran over his foot! Noel tells a story about how Harry built a bicycle and the handlebars fell off when he first used it! We get to see a pic of Harry's son and daughter, and he says he'd love to get money to improve their lives, as he's living with his father after getting divorced.

The banker phones and says he's full of Christmas spirit. Under the pound table there is a gold envelope with a ? on it. If Harry hits any ONE of the Banker's Power 5, Harry can give the gift in the envelope to any player he wishes.

Israel's Deal or No Deal Game Report 20/12/09

We are right on the eve of Santa V Scrooge week, and Noel says he wouldn't want to play today, as the Banker might be really evil as he will be confident of lots of victories next week.

Israel has box 18 today. Israel is from Leicester and is a group manager at a health and fitness company, and he explains about his role in the company. We get to see a picture of his 2 daughters. Noel doesn't know what the Banker will make of Israel as he has been very quiet on the wings.

Noel says at the moment, we could rename the dream factory to the 'emotion factory'. He says everyone feels very frustrated at the moment after Gillian's and Dan's games. He hopes that frustration will turn into positivity today.

Helen has box 14. Helen puts her box the wrong way round on the table, then she goes round the table the wrong way! Helen is from Ireland originally, but has lived over here for 40 years. She used to work in as a quality controller in a bicycle factory and still cycles nowadays, and she often goes to the betting shop!! Noel says it never ceases to amaze him what the contestants bring with them to the crazy chair, and yesterday Gillian brought everything with her, but it wasn't enough to bring her any luck and she went away with the 1p

Dan has box 2 today. Dan is from Hull, which gets some cheers, he is a cook and says he loves the enjoyment his food gives to people. He explains how he has Crohn's disease, and how he found out about it and how he now deals with it. He has a good luck card from his grilfriend, and we get to see a few family photos. Dan says he has a secret weapon, and he has put on his lucky boxers and offers to show them to us Some music starts playing as Dan starts to take off his trousers to show us his 'Big Boy' boxers

Noel says it's nearly Christmas! He says there is an unanswered question, and that is where is the power and influence in the game? He says the answer is Peggy, who got an offer after every box for Monique yesterday...

Gillian has box 1. Gillian tap dances along the walk of wealth and Noel carries her box for her! Gillian is a retired nursery teacher and says her ambition was to tap dance on the walk of wealth. The banker phones and says he can't see Gillian's face as she has so much stuff on her box. Gillian shows a pic of her late father, and she says he was a massive fan of the show. She also shows a pic of her 4 adopted children and she'd like to create a fund for them. Gillian has a replica box which she says is a Christmas present for Noel. Monique's Deal or No Deal Game Report 15/12/09

Noel says the spirit of Christmas is starting to enter the Dream factory. He runs through Bev's game and how her sister who was in the audience blurted out that she would be happy with £10,000, and once the Banker heard this it totally changed her game. He then starts handing out tape to the contestants to put over their friends and familys mouths should they play today!

Monique has box 10 today. Noel says Monique looks really shocked to be playing today, and she says that she wanted to stay longer as she is having a great time. She is an office temp but would love to become a professional photographer and there is a certain sum of money that would make that dream come true today.

We have Christmas decorations up in the dream factory. Noel says we're in the Christmas mood and he says he's run out of ways to describe the show, and he runs through Neil's game again!

Neil's Deal or No Deal Game Report 13/12/09

Noel welcomes us to the weekend at the Dream factory, and talks about the interesting people we have at the moment on the wings. He talks about the Terminator, black widow, and many other contestants who have had a reputation for destroying games, and the latest is Bev who the Banker really enjoys destroying games. Neil has box 13 today. Neil is a police dog handler from Swindon, and he tells us about Anya his police dog and how they both got attacked during a callout where a chap came at him and Anya with a knife! He tells how Anya saved him and a number of other officers during that attack. Neil has his wife in the audience for support today. Noel asks if 13 means anything to Neil, and it doesn't.

Neil picks Bev first despite Noel's big build up at the start of the show!

That shows how scared the Banker is says Noel, he has brought out his big persuader. Neil says he needs to step back and think about this a little.

That is fine says Noel. The Banker says that right now Neil could make him sit up and beg

Neil says that he can see the strength of the board and up to now he has found choosing the numbers really easy, but now he has a problem with what numbers to pick. Noel goes off and does a sweep of the wings, most say NO DEAL. Harry tells him in the worst case he will still have a strong board.

Noel asks people to put their hands up if they think Neil made a mistake, and most people in the studio put up their hands.
