Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Jerry's Deal or No Deal Game report 01/09/09

Noel says we have an interesting game in prospect for today as he thinks the contestants may have been chatting about systems after Nic used a system yesterday and did well out of her game, he thinks we will have another cracking system like Nic's today.

Jerry has box 13 today. Jerry is originally from Louisiana in the US and now lives in London. He was originally a locksmith, but fancied a changed and went into nursing and loves it.

We get to see a picture of Jerry when he entered a Fonzy lookalike competition We also get to see a picture of Jerry's 2 sons, and Noel mentions that the whole families first names begin with J.

Jerry says he doesn't have a system, but might make one up as he goes along

What a start says Jerry. Georgina next but she has a cold and asks Noel is she could have some of his special drink that he has in the breaks.

What do you think of that asks Noel, and Jerry likes the look of it... The Banker likes it that Jerry has said he will go all the way today.

Noel cleans up all the lipstick on Jerry before the start of the next round

Banker time
That one hurt says Noel and Jerry agrees with him. The Banker says it was a cruel round and he could go down now, but he is not going to as he thinks Jerry is an interesting character.

Jerry says he came to play the game and has come along to have some fun as well.

Jerry talks about how 13 is the box he really wanted so can't understand why he is finding it so hard to pick the boxes at the moment

Banker time
Noel doesn't think that Jerry can count to 3, and Jerry gets a little lost and starts to pick another box. The Banker talks about the large amount of blues left and also how Jerry is talking about playing to the end.

Banker's offer:
£5,000


Jerry talks about how it seems to get harder as the offers go up, and talks about how he watches the show at home with his boys. He then talks about how he has watched some people talk about playing to the end and wants to see if he has the guts to see that through, the Banker then calls and says he is impressed by Jerry's speech. He raises the offer!

Jerry says

Round 4
Jerry goes to Shaun, but Noel points out that he was going to Jim before the last offer, so Jerry goes to Jim instead.

Banker time
Noel says that this isn't looking good, but Jerry says that this sort of postition can make it easier to go to the end. The Banker is getting a little worried about this situation.

Jerry says that his boys said they would frame the cheque if he lost.
