Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Carland's Deal or No Deal Game Report 31/01/12

Carland has box 18. Carland is from Plymouth and works for Royal Mail. Carland is married to Katie and we see a picture taken from his wedding day in Dartmoor. Noel asks if he's thinking of expanding his family and Carland says that is one of the reasons he's here to get some extra money to help out any with any future kids. Carland has bought along a red packet and explains it is a Chinese tradition which is usually filled with money as a sign of good luck. Carland's friend is in the audience today.

Carland says he's not sure whether to avoid boxes 22, 14, & 4 for now as 4 means death in Chinese. Number 8 is a lucky number in Chinese tradition.

The Banker goes on and says if Carland has the perfect round he'd offer around £30,000, but if he had the nightmare round he'd offer less than £1,000 and the Banker says he'd deal at this point as there's more to lose than gain.

Wendy's Deal or No Deal Game Report 30/01/12

Wendy has box 7. Wendy is from London and now lives in Essex, and she talks about how she has a love for the 1960s and 1970s. Wendy shows a photo of her with her sisters while on holiday, and she has a banker voodoo doll with her for the banker! She has her daughter and partner Reg in the audience today.

Round 1
Wendy has a little poem that she wants the audience to recite at various points during the game! She says she's saving box 13 to the end, as her and her twin brother have always had things happen to them on Friday 13th, including how they both had accidents and damaged their legs at the same time. She then tells even more stories about how weird things had happened to them. The banker rings and worries there'll be lengthy stories before every box!

Giuliana's Deal or No Deal Game Report 29/01/12

Giuliana has box 15. Giuliana is a part-time youth worker and ice-cream vendor among other things, and she speaks about her work with youths, and how she does her best to help them. Giuliana talks about her late mum, and she has a decoration from her wedding cake with her. She shows a photo of her daughters and she has one in the audience today, along with her husband.

Gabbie says she has the fly on her box, and Noel says that's not fair as it's Wendy's fly! Noel then whacks the box and kills the fly! They show a close-up of the box and the dead fly, and the banker rings and says he's really distressed about it.

Noel comments on how much effort Giuliana is putting into choosing each box.

Leo's Deal or No Deal Game Report 27/01/12

Leo has box 20 today. Leo is from Wales, and is a customer service rep, and is also involved in break dancing, which is something he would love to be involved with on a full-time basis. Leo and Noel talk about how dance has become so popular over the past few years. Leo has some beads which have been blessed by a priest. We see a picture of Leo dancing, and he has his partner in the audience for support today. Noel asks her how they met, and she says that she sent him a picture on his phone, although she didn't like the first one he sent, so he sent another with his top off!

Round 1
Noel nearly forgets to do the housekeeping, but the Banker picks up on it and puts it to the vote if Noel should do the rest of the show from the car park or the studio, and he narrowly avoids the car park

Noel says it has all been kicking off as one of the pilgrims was complaining that she only had one cheek on her chair as they are really packing them in the Dream Factory now. The Banker then asks Leo if he would like some music to show us his dance moves. Leo agrees and we get a demonstration of Leo performing his dance moves.

Bekki has box 9. Bekki is a full-time mum and she says she has 5 children, all aged 7 and under. Bekki shows a photo of her children.

Noel says Brian is still ill today. Bekki says she's really grateful to be on the show.

The banker rings and has a go at Greg, because he threw the box seal into the box like it was a rubbish bin, so he throws Greg out! Noel notices Wendy is acting strangely and she says there's a gnat flying about, and Noel says it's attracted to her "Eau de Turd" perfume.

Chris's Deal or No Deal Game Report 25/01/12

Chris has box 1 today. Chris is a self-employed hairdresser. Noel talks about the joke a day that Chris has been doing everyday, and Chris gives us another joke for today. Chris has her son, daughter and friend in the audience for support today. Noel asks Chris's son how if feels to be unplanned, and Noel tells how Chris became pregnant after her husband had a vasectomy and her son was a nice surprise. Chris has a red box for the Banker which contains a survival kit for him during Chris' game.

Michael has an old school friend in the audience, and he says their friendship grew recently and they'll be engaged soon.

Renee has box 18 today. Renee is an account manager for a media company. We get to see a picture of Renee's nan who watches the show everyday, she talks about her granddad who she says was a gambler, so we will see if any of that has rubbed off on her. Renee has her mum in the audience for support today.

Renee doesn't have a system, but decides to take out all the boxes that have a nasty reputation.

Dale has box 6. Dale is from Plymouth and is a quality control coordinator in an organic food company, and he says that involves tasting lots of different flavours! Dale talks about all the different foods he tastes, and we get to see a photo of him with his wife and children. Dale's wife is in the audience today. He has a wooden elephant with him, which represents the traveling he's done.

Jodi's Deal or No Deal Game Report 19/01/12

Jodi has box 21 today. Jodi is a student studying nursing. Jodi has her mum in the audience for support today. She has a lucky stone with her that she says makes her hand tingle every time she holds it, so Noel goes to the pilgrims to test out if it does for other people, and it does for some. She has a few other stones that have various meanings to help her today. Noel then starts shaking the pound table saying how powerful the stones are. We get to see a family photo.

Jodi says she feels like dancing, so Noel says she should start dancing then.

Paul has Box 4. Paul Pocock is an accounts student from Washington, Tyne & Wear. He tells of how he went down with meningitis in his youth and was told he'd have to have his legs amputated; he ended up having both his legs amputated below the knee, along with a bit of his fingers. Adam has box 17. Adam is from Sheffield and is a professional drag artist. He talks about how he became a drag artist, and he was part of a group who put on lots of shows. Noel thanks Adam for not being his alter ego Babs today. Adam has a Doctor Who sonic screwdriver with him. We get to see a pic of Adam's late grandma, and he introduces us to his two friends in the audience. He says it'd be ironic if he became the first male quarter-millionaire.

Laurie has box 5 today. Laurie is a mobile hairdresser, and has her partner in the audience for support today. Laurie is 7 months pregnant, and Noel asks if there is a midwife in the audience today, and 2 people put their hands up. Laurie shows a picture of her neice.

Margaret has box 11 today. Margaret is from Bromsgrove and is retired. She was married for 56 years to her husband, who passed away in 2005. She talks about how she met her husband, and got married in 1948, after initially meeting him, then falling out for 2 weeks before getting back together again. She has her companion in the audience for support today. She shows a picture of her with her husband and sons, and she has one of her sons in the audience for support today.

Noel asks if Margaret planned for her headstone, as if she hasn't she could use her new saying on the show of 'Thank you, Goodbye'

Noel says James is feeling rather tense. James is a manager of an estate agent, and we get to hear about how he proposed to his wife while they were walking along a beach. James shows a photo of his 2 children, and he gets a bit emotional as he's missing them so much.

Zoe's Deal or No Deal Game Report 09/01/12

Noel says Darren's game yesterday was marvellous, and he talks about the marriage theme that ran throughout the show. He says he feels the show peels away the façades of the contestants and we get to know the inner people. Noel says today, Adam's alter ego Babs is starring, and Adam comes out dressed in his skimpy Babs Union Jack dress!

Zoe has box 4. Zoe is from Birmingham and she's a recovery nurse, and she'd ideally like to be a midwife. Zoe's fiancé Tom is in the audience today, and she introduces us to a toy goat she has with her! Tom tells a story of how Zoe often wakes up and thinks she's a goat and other animals! Zoe compares herself to the goat because she talks a lot. We get to see Zoe and her family on her graduation day. Noel says he can see a goat of arms on her certificate

Darren has box 18 today.Darren is a dog handler at Gatwick airport, and he explains about his job searching for drugs with his dog at the airport. He has his partner in the audience for support, along with 2 of his friends. He shows a picture of his ex-dog which his friends now look after, and explains how his old dog has chosen the last five numbers for his game today - 8,13,14,17, and 18. The Banker calls and shouts 'House'
