Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Ben's Deal or No Deal Game Report 31/01/10

Noel says the current contestants are an extraordinary bunch and have produced some sensational games. He says sometimes players can scare the banker into making some good offers.

Ben has box 4.Ben explains his surname has Dutch origins, and that's why he speaks a lot of Double Dutch! He is a retired painter/decorator and he has his wife in the audience today. He has a couple of jars of local delicacy from where he lives with him, and they contain mustard. One is for Noel and one is for the banker. He also has a small replica DoND box with him. We get to see some pics of his family. Ben says he's here because it's a wonderful show and he'd like to raise some money for a local charity.

Mo's Deal or No Deal Game Report 29/01/10

Noel says we're all still buzzing after Tracey's game yesterday, and he says the most important thing to bring to the show is the link between your heart and your head.

Mo has box 15. Mo is a carpenter who also does property maintenance. Noel talks to him about his upbringing and how they slept 6 in a bed! He says he's here to change a lot of lives as he'd like to give his mum and dad some money. He'd also like some money to have a big family reunion. Mo's father-in-law is in the audience today. We also get to see some pics of his 2 late sisters, and Mo gets quite emotional while talking about them. Mo also shows a pic of his wedding day and a scan of his wife's baby which is expected to arrive soon.

Tracey's Deal or No Deal Game Report 28/01/10

Noel talks about the personalities and characters we have on the wings at the moment and says there are pairings on there at the moment, Emiliana and Chris both have fears of heights and then jokes about a few other pairings

Tracey has box 17 today. Tracey is a beautician and started up her business in a shed! She has her partner in the audience for support today, and Noel asks him if he was looking for an old boiler when he met Tracey! He then tells us that Tracey's partner is a heating engineer

Noel jokes that the newbie looks like Superman Tracey writes her target in the book. She is also going to take out all the unlucky boxes first.

Glenda's Deal or No Deal Game Report 27/01/10

Noel says he had a feeling this week would be great and he says he really enjoyed Mark's game yesterday, and runs through what happened in it.

Glenda has box 20. Glenda works for a car dealership in Essex. She speaks about her pet chihuahua, and then talks about her husband Harry who's in the audience. He has really big hair like Glenda. He explains how he first met Glenda, and it was in a pub. She shows some pics of her wedding to Harry, and another pic of them at a variety show!

Before we start, Noel blows in Glenda's hair for good luck as it's like a dandelion. Glenda has no system.

Mark's Deal or No Deal Game Report 26/01/10

Noel says he's still glowing from Courtney's game, and runs through what happened.

Mark has box 13 today. Mark is from Scotland and is wearing a kilt today. Mark was involved with sheepdogs, but got hit by the 2001 foot and mouth outbreak, so instead of sheep, he started using ducks!! We get to see a pic of Mark with his family, and another pic of one of his dogs rounding up a group of Indian runner ducks!

Mark produces 2 boxes. He says he arrived at DoND on 1st January, so the boxes have whisky and shortbread for the banker. He also has a gift for Noel.

Courtney's Deal or No Deal Game Report 25/01/10

A start of a new week in the Dream Factory and Noel would like to forget about Tom's game where he left with a tough choice of 2 boxes at the end and picked the wrong box and left the show being very upset. Noel tells all the contestants to forget the lucky numbers as it is a random game, but then goes into a waffle about the numbers really meaning something to everyone.

Courtney has box 20 today. Noel sniffs Courtney and says 'Haddock'! He explains that Courtney works in a fish and shop, and Noel says that Courtney is a little dippy and her parents have to leave post-it notes all around the house as she keeps forgetting things We get to see some of Courtney's photos, and she has her sister in the audience for support today.

Courtney is picking her birthday first as she doesn't want to get into a pickle at the end like Tom did.

Tom's Deal or No Deal Game Report 24/01/10

Noel welcomes us to the Dream Factory and tells us about 3 dreams of the contestants, Ben wants to tell a joke to the Queen

Tom has box 8 today. Tom is from Plympton and is a self-employed carpenter, and Noel says he is on the show by accident, and Tom tells us how he had a bad motorbike accident and while he was in hospital recovering he had a big think about his life and where he was going and decided to go travelling a little and also to make the most of his life, Tom then shows us a picture of himself in hospital. We get to see another picture of Tom doing a bungee jump in Australia, and he says he did 13 jumps that day as it was unlimited jumps! Tom has his friend in the audience for support today.

Tom asks Noel if he finds the 1p would Noel kiss the contestant in slow motion instead of him Noel agrees to do it

Harold's Deal or No Deal Game Report 22/01/10

Noel says we had a great game yesterday with Al, and he runs through what happens. He then runs through some of the characters on the wings at the moment.

Harold has box 11. Harold is from Lancashire and he is wearing a blazer with lots of medals, as he was with the Royal Engineers during the 1950s. He has his wife with him in the audience. They've known each other since they were children, and they got married when he came out of the forces. We get to see a pic of Harold's family, including his son and daughter. Harold also shows another pic of him in his younger days when he used to do boxing!

Al's Deal or No Deal Game Report 21/01/10

Noel says he started Debbie's game by pointing out the different clubs that have formed from the games, 1p club, 3rd round dealer clubs, but Debbie created her own club yesterday, the 13p club. He then remembered there is still one club with no members - The male £250,000 club

Al has box 20 today. Alan Gibbon, and Noel says he must have got some stick with his surname when younger! Al used to work in a call center, and decided to change his line of work one day and phoned around convincing people he was up for a complete change in line of work and is now a senior support worker. Al has his partner in the audience for support today. We get to see some of Al's family photos. Noel asks Al if 20 means anything to him, it doesn't but there are some numbers he might be saving.

Debbie's Deal or No Deal Game Report 20/01/10

Noel says there are love/hate relationships on the east wing. He gives some examples, e.g. Laura loves neuroscience but she hates fish!

Debbie has box 18. Noel talks about Debbie being a bed bouncer. Debbie is a sales supervisor at a department store, and she explains how she met her partner Dave in the store. She has her friend Lucy in the audience today. She shows an old pic of her and her family when she was 7. She's wearing a mask in the pic as she'd fallen off a climbing frame! We also get to see a pic of Dave.

The banker phones and says he heard what Noel said about the newbie being scared about her box opening! He says if ANYONE mucks up a box opening today, a pilgrim will get thrown out each time!!

Noel says there are series of clubs in the dream factory, including the 1p club and the £250,000 club.

Nat has box 17. Nat is very shocked to play today. She is a hairdresser and sales advisor and Noel ruffles up her hair! Noel talks about Nat's forefinger which is bent! He says she'll use it against the banker by scaring him. She has a four-leafed clover with her which she had when she passed her driving test. Nat's friend is in the audience today.

Shell's Deal or No Deal Game Report 18/01/10

Noel welcomes us to a new week in the Dream Factory, but he says it comes with a major warning to not let the Banker know about any phobias like Chris did yesterday when she revealed she didn't like mice!

Shell has box 19 today. Noel asks Shell if they should turf the walk of wealth as she has a turf business. Shell shows a picture of her granddad, and has his fork that he used all his life from his army days, we also see a picture of her 3 sons. Noel asks if her sons have given her advice for the show, but they haven't really, although she has sort of promised them some things.

Chris' Deal or No Deal Game Report 17/01/10

Noel hopes we are all having a wonderful weekend, and then refers back to Friday as he thinks it will have a big influence on today as Adam got an extra £2,500 out of the Banker and lied to him to get it and then went on to spank the Banker

Chris has box 14 today. Chris is a retired supermarket assistant, and tells Noel she retired as she is old now! She has her husband in the audience for support and tells how they met and got married. We gt to see some family pictures, and she also a small black cat that she has brought along for some luck.

David's Deal or No Deal Game Repord 13/01/10

Noel says this is a cold era for the show. No he's not talking about the weather, he's talking about how the boxes aren't going well for the players and the banker is loving it, as we saw with Bel's game yesterday....

David has box 21. David is a district nurse from Derby. He says he likes his job, and the gorier the better. Noel talks about how wounds are sometimes treated with maggots, and David explains what the maggots do! Noel gets a little bowl out of the pound table and says there are maggots in it. He then trips over and throws them over the audience, before revealing the bowl had rice in it. We get to see a pic of David's mum and dad, and a pic of the nurses he works with. His dad (who's also called David!) and his girlfriend are in the audience.

Bel's Deal or No Deal Game Report

Noel says they tried so hard to manufacture a dream for Carmine yesterday, but like the past few days the boxes haven't been with the contestants, but he hopes that will change today and there is someone playing who can make the most of that.


Bel has box 10 today. Bel is a hosital reception supervisor. Bel's husband is in the audience for support today, and Noel says that he is a real bully and has been pestering Bel since he was 13! Bel has small homemade DoND box with the number 8 on it, she says it is No. 8 because of her shape! She opens the box and shows us some of her family pics, and she also has her granddad's bible inside for some luck. Bel says 10 is her lucky number, and she also has some lucky numbers that she will be using.

Carmine's Deal or No Deal Game Report 11/01/10

Noel says the banker is cruising at the moment as he hasn't been put under pressure lately, as the boxes haven't been going well for the players.

Carmine has box 10. Carmine is Italian but now lives in Derbyshire. He talks about how he ended up coming over here from Italy in the 1960s. Noel says Carmine met his wife by charming her with his accent, and he's going to do the same with the banker today! Carmine has some camomile tea for Noel because Noel kept calling him "camomile". He also has a miniature van with him from his collection of vans. We get to see a pic of his family, and a pic of his wife and 2 daughters.

George's Deal or No Deal Game Report 10/01/10

Noel hopes we are having a wonderful weekend and says we need a lot of warmth at the moment (He's not talking about the cold weather though) He talks about the unlucky games recently

George has box 21 today. Georgina is an outpatients bookings coordinator. Noel asks George if she wants to explain why she is here today, and George agrees to explain about her 2 children who had an illness that meant they wouldn't live longer than 8-12 years old, and they both died when they were 8, and George always promised that she would live her life to the full. We get to see a picture of George's late children. George has her partner in the audience for support today.

Noel talks about Jardi's game yesterdays and says the ripples of it are still being felt in the Dream Factory. He talks about how Jardi was really comfortable with his gambles and accepted the result.

H has box 19 today. H is from Newport, and is a supermarket cashier, she started out in it as a temporary job for Christmas and has been there for 20 years now!
