Glenn's Deal or No Deal Game Report 30/11/10

Noel wonders why people come on the show, and he says people don't just come for the money, and we saw that in Kim's game when he had relentless misfortune and only won £5.

Glenn has box 20. Glenn is a self-employed builder. We get to see a pic of his late dad, and a pic of Glenn when he was a baby. We also get to see a pic of Glenn's mum. He says his Dad was called Peter but he was known as Barry, as his wife's name was Rita and people called them "Pete and Rete". Glenn has his fiancée in the audience today, and they reveal they met at a fireworks party! Glenn says some of the wedding still needs to be paid for.

Kim's Deal or No Deal Game Report 29/11/10

Noel thanks Wayne yesterday for a reminder, and he says the current contestants have collectively waited 40 years to be on the show! He says Wayne waited over 2 years and he had a bad game, and how you handle disappointment is really important.

Kim has box 9. Kim is from Birmingham but originally came from Corfu. He says he moved to the UK when he was 20, and he runs a mobile catering business. Kim has some bottles of family-made olive oil for Noel and the banker. We get to see an old pic of Kim with his family. He talks about how he lost his father at quite a young age and he's lost touch with the rest of his family.

Wayne's Deal or No Deal Game Report 28/11/10

Noel says we had a great week of celebrations this week, to celebrate the show's 5th birthday. He says normally you'd feel flat after a party but they don't feel flat at all!

Wayne has box 16. Wayne is a graphic designer and he explains that he used to be a prison officer before that! He says the shifts took their toll which is when he changed to graphic design. He shows us a pic of his baby nephew and he has his nephew's birth tag with him for good luck. We also get to see a pic of his parents, and they're in the audience today. They say they've encouraged him to be careful.

Mary's Deal or No Deal Game Report 26/11/10 - 5th Birthday Specials

The show starts with a video of Noel walking through the reception area of DoND, and Noel is dressed up as the various staff members, including the box painter, a cameraman, a soundman, the make-up woman and other staff members.

Today the show reaches the climax of the 5th birthday week specials, and we get promised the usual mix of special guest, nostalgia and twists and turns, that we have got used to this week.

Noel says there have been 1,468 shows, and he gives some other stats, including how the banker has paid out a massive £22,666,326.75 since the show began!

Mary has box 9. Mary has trouble sitting at the chair. Mary is a retired china-shop worker, and she lives in Manchester. She tells a story of how she was born in southern Ireland and she ended up in Manchester. She introduces us to her daughter who is in the audience today, and she says she wants to split any winnings with her today. We get to see an old B&W pic of Mary with her late husband. Mary says she's ready for another one and she wants to buy a man!

We now get to see a montage of clips from Year 1 of DoND...

Noel welcomes ex-contestant Lynn to the VIP area today, and she has another chance to win a holiday with her. Noel chats to Lynn, who was the first ever contestant. She says she had no idea the show would be so successful, and says it's so surreal to be back, even after 5 years.

Mary has to choose a box to go into the VIP area. Mary chooses box 12 with Glenn. Glenn joins Lynn in the VIP area. Noel will open box 12 and when Mary chooses it, Lynn and Glenn have to guess its contents. If one of them gets it right, then Mary wins a holiday. She also gets an instant offer from the banker.

Kirsty's Deal or No Deal Game Report 25/11/10 - 5th Birthday Specials

Noel welcomes us to the 4th of these special shows, and promises us more twists and turns and a special guest.

Kirsty has box 6. Kirsty is from the Isle of Sky, and she talks about how it's a lovely place to live. She's currently studying physiotherapy in Edinburgh and she talks about how it was a change to living on the Isle of Sky. Kirsty has some lucky heather with her today.

Noel welcomes ex-contestant Laura to the VIP area today, and she has another chance to win a holiday with her. Noel chats to Laura about her £250,000 win and she says she's spent it all on travelling, having a baby and buying a house.

Elli's Deal or No Deal Game Report 24/11/10 - 5th Birthday Specials

Noel welcomes us to the 3rd show of this week's 5th birthday specials. Once again, there'll be some nostalgia, special guests and some twists.

Elli has box 19. Elli is from Hull and is a professional wrestler and wrestles men in the American style. She says she has a signature move, which is called a heart-breaker. She says her family are bikers and she grew up in a biker community. Elli shows a pic of her Dad and another pic of her Mum. Noel says Elli has a degree in performing arts, and Elli has a wrestling mask for Noel, which he puts on!

Noel welcomes ex-contestants Orry and Clive to the VIP area today, and they have another chance to win a holiday with them. Noel chats to Orry about his game and how he swapped £100,000 away to win £1, and he chats to Clive about how he was the only player ever to have a full-on row with the banker!

John's Deal or No Deal Game Report 23/11/10 - 5th Birthday Specials

Noel welcomes us to the 2nd of the 5th birthday week specials. Once again, we're promised a guest, some nostalgia and lots of surprises. Noel runs through what happened yesterday and wonders what will happen today.

John has box 1. John is from Liverpool, and is a football coach and personal trainer. John talks about how football is huge in his life, and it has been since he was a young boy. He says he got an injury and it involved rehabilitation for 12 months, which is when he got into car sales followed by personal training. We get to see a pic of John when he was dressed up as a drunken Scouser. Noel says John is a big gambler, and he has a poker chip with him today. John has his girlfriend Katie in the audience today.

Before the game starts, we get to see a montage of clips from Year 4 of the show.

Today's special guest is Alice, who won the £250,000 in March 2009. Alice joins Noel in the VIP area, and Noel has a chat with her. Alice says she's saved the money for a house, and talks about what else she's done with the money. She says she still loves the show and is pleased to be back in the studio. She has a holiday envelope with her like Corinne did yesterday.

John now has to chose a contestant to go into the VIP area with Alice, and he chooses Fred with box 6. Noel will open box 6 when John chooses it. When John chooses box 6, Alice and Fred will guess its contents. If one of them is right, John wins a holiday and he gets an instant offer.

Aimee's Deal or No Deal Game Report 22/11/10 - 5th Birthday Specials

Noel welcomes us to the start of the week of celebrations for the show's 5th birthday. Everyone is dressed smartly and the set is also dressed up to celebrate this special week. Noel says we have 5 special shows this week, as a thank you to the audience at home over the last 5 years.

Aimee has box 8. Aimee is an assistant manager in a clothing accessory shop, and Noel says she's really interested in clothing and fashion. She has her parents and her boyfriend in the audience today, and she shows a pic of her dog. She says she'd like to buy a blingy diamond lead and bowl for her dog with her winnings today.

Before the game begins, we get to see some highlights of Year 5 of DoND. Noel welcomes the special guest today, who is ex-contestant Corinne, and she sits in the VIP area which has champagne and canapés! Noel speaks to her and asks her what the reaction to her game was, as she was dying to buy a Bentley and her dream was to win £250,000. She says she got her 2nd wish which was to win 1p, and she shows a necklace which has a 1p coin in it!!

Noel says Corinne has brought a VIP holiday with her and someone could be fortunate enough to win it today. Noel asks Aimee to choose someone to sit with Corinne, and Noel will open their box! Aimee chooses Kirsty with box 18 to sit with Corinne. Noel says box 18 could get Aimee the VIP holiday. Noel says when box 18 is opened, we will get an offer from the banker.

Bill's Deal or No Deal Game Report 21/11/10

Noel thanks everyone for making the show part of our lives for the last 5 years, and he talks about how each show next week during the birthday celebrations will focus on a particular year of the show.

Bill has box 19. Bill is from Glasgow and he's a retired salesman, but he's also worked in a paint factory and a paper factory, and has been a postman amongst many other jobs! He says he often gets fed up with one job and moves on to the next. He has some soft toys with him that his sister made, and they're little Scottish men! He also shows a pic of his garden and a pic of his grandson. He tells a story about how he once delivered a baby. He has his wife with him in the audience today and they explain how they met.

Bill shouts out "SMOKING" before they start the round, and Noel says saying "smoking" at work is illegal. Mary now, and she jokes about Bill taking his jock strap off.

Shaun's Deal or No Deal Game Report 19/11/10

Noel says we've got a tremendous excitement going at the moment, as next week is the 5th anniversary week. He asks the audience some trivia questions about DoND. He asks who Lynn Atherton is, and a bloke calls out "the first ever player"! Noel says "he's a nerd" and then the camera reveals that the man looks suspiciously like dond.co.uk's MisterAl.

Shaun has box 17. Shaun is a builder from Leeds and Noel asks if he'll start the game and then vanish for a couple of weeks. Shaun talks about how he did boxing professionally, but he stopped doing it so he could spend more time with his family. We get to see an old pic of Shaun with a yellow mohican.

Shaun has his fiancée in the audience, and she says they met in a nightclub and have been engaged for 5 years and would like to win some money today, to get married. We also get to see a pic of Shaun's daughter, and he shows us a card that his daughter made and she put box 15 on the front.

Shaun says he really doesn't want to deal and wonders what you gain if you don't gamble.

Kat's Deal or No Deal Game Report 18/11/10

Noel reminds us about next week, when the show will be 5 years old. He says 2 of the show's greatest characters - Orry and farmer Clive - will be joining us next week.

Kat has box 10. Kat works with a train company and she explains that her fiancée has also been her husband! She says it went wrong first time and she now realises she shouldn't have kicked him out. Noel pushes her for more details and tries to get some gossip. Kat shows a pic of her 3 children, and a pic of her fiancée. Noel says he looks like Mel Smith and wonders if Griff Rhys-Jones is the best man!

Noel talks about the wonderful exciting atmosphere at the moment as we near the 5th birthday week, he then runs through some previous memoriable contestants including Mary who got a little confused in her game but ended up walking away with a massive win.

Bonita has box 9 today. Bonita says her name is Spanish, but she has no Spanish connections, her mum just liked the name. She shows us some of her pictures, and has her son in the audience for support today, and also her partner who Noel points out is wearing a rather fetching blazer which her partner says is a rugby blazer.

Damian's Deal or No Deal Game Report 16/11/10

Noel says there is a real buzz in the Dream factory as the 5th birthday celebrations will soon be here, he talks about Nick Bains who was the first 1p winner, and Mally who created Mally's law, Corrine gets a mention for her dramatic 1p win.

Damian has box 9 today. Damian is a steel mill setter, and he explains a little about his job. Noel talks about Damian being a first aider but he has had to give himself first aid on a few occasions! We get to see a picture of Damian's mum and dad, and another of him with his stepson. Damian has his fiancee in the audience for support and she says that they met in a pub after she set her sights on him! Damian says that they have been engaged for 4 years now, but everytime they save for a wedding they seem to blow the money on something else.

Maryanne's Deal or No Deal Game Report 15/11/10

Noel says we're a week away from the 5th birthday celebrations, and he says we'll have an orgy of nostalgic moments next week.

Maryanne has box 4. Maryanne is a travel agent but is also training to be a lecturer in training and tourism. She has her partner in the audience today. She shows a pic of her nana, who made her apply for the show, but sadly passed away recently. Maryanne explains she also has her nana's wedding ring with her. She has a card with her and a letter for the banker that her daughter made. Maryanne says her daughters think the banker will be nice if they're good.

Millie's Deal or No Deal Game Report 14/11/10

Noel welcomes us to the Dream factory at the weekend, and says he is going to mention something that we don't see, and it is the method used to choose the boxes, and they pick their number from a bag a balls to make it all random, he then talks about how some contestants then swap their box away but it all goes wrong like it has this week. He warns that the Banker might be in a swappy mood today!

Millie has box 19 today. Millie is from Birmingham, she says she is really nervous. She is part time barmaid and is looking to get into fashion. She shows us an award she got whilst out shopping that was for Birmingham's most stylish person. She then shows us a family picture and has her mum and boyfriend in the audience for support today.

Millie gets emotional and says that she doesn't want to go home with a blue. Noel says he is going to give Millie some time now to think about this before asking the question. Hitch's Deal or No Deal Game Report 12/11/10

Noel talks about the millions of fans of the show, and how anyone can come and play the game, but talks about how even though people apply and get onto the show some still struggle to actually play the game and freeze or clam up when playing, mentioning both Ann and Savy who have done so this week.

Hitch has box 21 today. Hitch, or The Hitman as he was known when he was a boxer. Noel reads out his boxing record, and Paul talks about how he had to retire due a problem with a routine brainscan he had. We get to see a picture of Hitch in his boxing days and says he would like to take that pose at the end of his game today. Hitch also shows a picture of his late dad, and another of Hitch with his daughter on her prom night. Hitch has his mum in the audience for support today.

Hitch chooses box 13 first, but the Banker calls and says he is convinced that it contains the £250,000! Noel then runs over to Hitch and starts kissing him and wishing him good luck!! He then runs over to Kim and starts kissing him as well!

Savy's Deal or No Deal Game Report 11/11/10

Noel says he makes no apology for repeating how this is the simplest game but it can bring emotional turmoil, which is what happened yesterday with Ann, as she overheated and had to go outside to the 5* car park to get some fresh air!

Savy has box 17. Savy is from Newcastle but was originally from South India, and she came to the UK in 2001. She's an administrative assistant, and she says she pays all of Newcastle's bills. We get to see a pic of Savy with her husband when they had just moved into their new house, and another pic of her 2 children. Noel says Savy is being very secretive and he wonders if we'll get anything out of her! Savy has her brother in the audience today.

Before the game starts, Savy says she didn't know Noel's second name, and thought his name was Noel Baggs! Savy says she likes odd numbers, and she doesn't know which numbers to pick today. Noel gives Savy a countdown from 10 to chose a box.

Ann's Deal or No Deal Game Report 10/11

Noel says we are nearly 5 years old He wonders if we will ever find the first male quarter millionaire as we nearly had one yesterday, as Jonathan was all set up and looked the perfect player to do it, but he left before he had the chance to do it missed out on £130,000 and the chance to be the first male quarter millionaire. Noel says he cheated him!

Ann has box 9 today. Ann is a housewife and musician from Liverpool. Ann says she is a musician over the weekends and has done if for a lot of years. Ann says that 3 of her children have sort of followed in her footsteps, and she has one of her daughters in the audience for support, and she is in Riverdance. Ann also has her husband in the audience for support. We get to see some of Ann's pictures, one is of her when she was 4 in a dancing competition, there is another of her in her band.

Noel then jokes with Ann that while she was out of the studio the Banker called back and upped the offer to £12,000 as he wants to finish early today, then Noel says he didn't really! The Banker calls back and says even he isn't that cruel to do something like that! Noel says that this is a gamble now, and she has to consider which is the biggest regret now.

Jonathan's Deal or No Deal Game Report 09/11/10

Noel wonders why the players bring friends and family with them, as it often complicates things! He then talks about Karen's game yesterday, and how she brought several relatives and she got lots of conflicting advice which added another burden to the game.

Jonathan has box 3. Jonathan is an electrician, and he explains he got into that after watching some builders on a building site. He shows a pic of all of his family, and a pic of his dog called Harvey! Jonathan has his fiancée Laura in the audience, and she explains she met Jonathan as she was once with one of his friends! He reveals he once bet a lot on a horse and it came in 2nd.

Karen's Deal or No Deal Game Report 08/11/10

Noel says we've got players with systems at the moment, and they're based on birthdays and anniversaries. Noel talks about past systems, including the bloke who based his on his local Chinese takeaway, and Mad Sarah who looked at the numbers and saw various objects! He says we've had a lot of nutters, but yesterday, Pat just went from 1 - 22!

Karen has box 10. Karen is from Bristol and she has her boyfriend and dad in the audience, along with some other family members. Karen is a crime scene investigator, and Noel says surely she can recognise that her dad has a dodgy moustache. Karen shows a pic of her at work, and talks a bit about her job. She shows a pic of her nephew.
