Rob's Deal or No Deal Game Report 24/11/09

Noel says we are in fine spirits at the moment. He says they never really emphasise enough the big deal is it to make it onto the show and how some of the players put hours into practising their box openings, and he talks about how Craig even had a dream about how his game would play out and it almost did perfectly to his dream.

Rob has box 11 today. Rob is a support worker from Liverpool, he tells Noel he hasn't had a dream about his game. Noel says that this could be the bloodiest game ever! He explains that Rob is really competitive and even plays hard against his 8 year old daughter at board games! He says that he thinks it is good for kids to understand losing as well as winning. We get to see a few of Rob's family photos, and Rob talks about how his grand-dad has really inspired him in his life.

Craig's Deal or No Deal Game Report 23/11/09

Noel runs through Mike's game yesterday and says how the show often changes people's lives.

Craig has box 5. Craig is from Workington, and is a primary school science teacher. His dad is in the audience, and Noel says he looks more like his brother! Craig explains that he's always been known as Dennis the Menace, and he has a Gnasher soft toy with him. We get to see some pics of his family and his girlfriend. Noel says Craig's life sounds idyllic!

Round 1
Ronnie is poorly again today so Ryan will open his box for him.
Craig says he had a dream that certain boxes were blue, so he's picking those boxes first.

Noel says that round will have given the banker some hope. The banker says the average has gone down after that excellent round for him. He says Craig looks like a frightened little boy trying to be a grown-up! He says this is the maximum that Craig will get out of the game and he should be man enough to take it.

Craig says that means the banker's running scared, and he says the banker is double-bluffing for sticking. The banker phones back and speaks to Craig, and says he's not scared of Craig, and would only be scared of him if he was in front of him at the buffet cart! The banker also speaks about the averages, and how Craig's offer and average is less than Mike's yesterday.
Craig thinks the offer should be nearer the average, more like £22,000. The banker phones back and says the board will swing in one direction after this offer.

Noel says he thought Craig may have pushed it one more. Craig reveals that in his dream, his own box was a blue!

Mike's Deal or No Deal Game Report 22/11/09

Noel thanks us for joining him at the weekend, and explains a little more about the contestants for the viewers who don't get the chance to tune in during the week. Mike has box 5 today. Mike People's wanted to be a rock start with long hair, and shows a picture of himself when he was 18 playing a guitar complete with his long hair Mike says that his wife isn't a big rock fan, but at the weekend his wife goes out for a couple of hours and he gets his rock hour where he does the housework to loud music

We get to see a picture of Mike's mum and dad, and also his daughter who has a message for the Banker of not to be mean to him Mike has a couple of his friends in the audience for support.

Round 1
Mike has a system, his daughter picked all the numbers out of a hat for him. Box 17 will be the last box.

Mike talks things through with his friends. Mike says he needs the money and is ready for the question. The Banker then calls back and says he will keep his promise to Mike's daughter and won't be mean to Mike, if he plays on he will be offered the average of the boxes remaining. Noel works out that if Mike plays on and keeps the £20,000 and £75,000 in play he will get an offer of about £47,000

Mary's Deal or No Deal Game Report 20/11/09

Noel says he's still sizzing and fizzing and buzzing after Anita got a life-changing sum of money yesterday! He goes through some of the dreams of the contestants, including Bev who wants to buy a pigeon with her winnings!

Mary has box 2. Mary says her family call her Bubbles, and she's a retired bus conductress/machinist. She tells Noel to move along the bus please. She shows a very old B&W pic of her with her sisters, and another pic of her with her son Trevor. She says Trevor had a stroke and can't walk very well, so she wants some money to help him. We also get to see a pic of her late husband, and she explains she met him in a pub when she got chucked out for causing trouble!

Mary has her friend Ruby in the audience today.

Mary says she can't read the name badges or remember the names!

The banker phones back and says he'd be horrible if he drew an old lady into making a big mistake, but if she goes on and has an all-blue round, the offer will be £26,000. Mary says that hasn't really helped and she's confused! Ruby joins her at the pound table, and they get a bit emotional. Ruby tells Mary she'd have to be VERY lucky to take out 3 blues now. Noel asks the question and the banker phones up. He says Mary shouldn't be tempted by the promise of £26,000. He now says he won't offer £26,000 if she has an all-blue round, he'll offer £32,000!

Mary says whatever will be, will be! The banker phones back with a present for Mary as she turned her back on £20,000. A crew member comes on set and delivers a big bouquet of flowers to Mary. Noel suddenly realises that the banker has nicked those flowers from his dressing room!

Anita's Deal or No Deal Game Report 19/11/09

Noel points out that the pilgrims come from all over the country to see the show, as do the contestants, and he talks about the pride they have for their local communities and winds up a few of them about their towns!

Anita has box 4 today. Anita takes a while to put her box on teh table and wonders how long the game will take! Anita comes from Greenwich and Noel hopes that the Banker isn't mean today! We get to see a few of Anita's photos, and she also has a drawing that her daughter has drawn and it has a drawing of Mr Blobby, and Noel says he will be taking that era to his grave with him

Noel asks Anita if she gambles, and she replies that she has never gambled in her life.

Noel says he knows Anita would consider £13k to be life-changing. Emma tells Anita to take deep breaths and enjoy it, and says Anita looks like a rabbit in the headlights!! The banker phones and says rabbits in headlights get crushed by traffic!
