Michael's Deal or No Deal Game Report 17/09/09

Noel is still frustrated after yesterdays game as he thought Heather had taken onboard his advice about getting the timing right and also the relationship that they have with the Banker, as she initially increased one offer by £1,000 but then didn't build on this later in her game as he would have liked to see her do.

Michael has box 20 today. Noel says he could be offended as Michael laughs at him everytime he looks at him, and Michael tells him it is because he loves him Michael is a trainee zoo keeper and looks after the meerkats, and Noel thinks that everyone looks like the animals they keep and asks him to put his hands up like a meerkat

Michael shows us a pic of him with the elephants at the zoo, and we also see a family pic as well.

Michael has a gift for Noel and it is a bright green 'Spank the Banker' t-shirt Michael would like to win enough to treat his family to a holiday as he has never flown before. Michael doesn't have anyone in the audience for support today, but Noel tells him all the animals around the studio will no doubt support him, and Noel then gets Russ to do some animal impressions!

Round 1
Noel jokes that Michael will go with Sharna first, but then stops Michael from choosing it as he doesn't want to influence his game especially if it goes wrong! Noel then restarts the game, but Michael still goes for Sharna
12 - £500 Sharna
17 - £15,000 James
8 - £250 Ben
9 - 50p Mary
10 - £1 Tristan

Banker time
That is a good opening round says Noel and he likes that... Michall tells the Banker that he is feeling lucky today.

Banker's offer:
SWAP

Michael says that there are 2 numbers that mean something to him and that is 5 and 6, and Noel tells him that he would now be able to keep both of those to the end.

Michael says
SWAP

Michael swaps for box 5

Round 2
Michael says he will leave us in suspense for a bit and not pick 20 yet
2 - £20,000 Stephen
13 - £100 Kerry
15 - 10p Tel

Banker time
You are winning the battle of the power 5s at the moment says Noel, and the Banker says he is not liking Michael's game at the moment.

Banker's offer:
£10,000

That is a very nice offer says Michael and he could do a lot with that, take his family on holiday. Vic tells him he still has a very strong board even with a power 5 amount missing, and the Banker calls back to tell him all the power 5 is still there!

Michael says
NO DEAL

Round 3
11 - £35,000 Tracey
14 - £10,000 Michelle
Michael says that box 20 is eating away at him, and Noel tells him to think about it and how it could influence his game.
20 - £750 Chapola

Banker time
That was a big blow to the Banker says Noel.

Banker's offer:
£15,000

That was a good move in taking out box 20 says Noel. Vic tells Michael to remember the words of Dirty Harry and does he feel lucky

Michael says
NO DEAL

Round 4
You will finish off the Banker if have an all-blue round with the 1p in it says Noel.
19 - £100,000 Kyle
1 - £5 Newbie Ginnette
16 - £1,000 Rob

Banker time
Noel thinks the only tactic the Banker has at the moment is to try and convince Michael that he swapped for the 1p! The Banker says that normally with the £100,000 going he would probably stick, but with the way Michael handled the swap he won't.

Banker's offer:
£17,000

Noel talks about timing, and how unlucky he would be in taking out the top 3 amounts in the next round, but does remind him that in a 3-box round it is possible. Michael says that his mum would tell him to deal, but his late sister would say no deal. Vic tells him that Del Boy would say 'He who dares wins'

Michael says
DEAL

Noel talks about timing again and says this feels a struggle at the moment

Proveout round 5
7 - 1p Suzi
NO, that would have been a perfect start says Noel
21 - £250,000 Jason
An amazing contrast says Noel
4 - £75,000 Shirley

Banker time
Amazing says Noel, and this could turn out to be perfect timing

Banker's offer would've been:
£7,000

Proveout round 6
18 - £50 Russ
3 - £3,000 Donna
22 - £5,000 Vic

Banker time with £10 and £50,000 remaining

Banker's offer:
BANKER'S GAMBLE

Michael says he knew it as the 2 numbers mean something to him , and Noel agrees that this was on the cards if the scenario played out as it has. Michael says he could do a lot with £50,000, but the £10 is looking scary on the board. The Banker calls back and tells Michael he thinks that £50,000 is sitting in box 5 and is regretting making this offer. Suzi tells Michael the Banker is playing big mind games now by saying that.

Michael says
NO DEAL

Noel opens box 5 and reveals £50,000

Shell with box 6 contains the £10

Michael says he is gutted but he also has £17,000.
