Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Lucy's Deal or No Deal Game Report 22/05/11

Lucy has box 18.

Lucy is a detention officer from Bradford, and she says she works in a police station. She says she wants to be a police officer, but can't be at the moment due to the recruitment freeze. Her boyfriend is in the audience and he's a policeman. Lucy shows a photo of her parents, and a photo of her young nephew. Lucy has a bag of fairy dust with her, and sprinkles some of it on her box.

Round 1

Banker time
Noel says the magic dust isn't working at the moment. The banker says this could be the best day ever, as the game is cursed, and the pilgrims are useless.

Banker's offer:

Noel tells the audience they can BOO if they wish! The banker rings back and says the pilgrims are too stupid to know why they're here!

Lucy says
NO DEAL

Round 2
The banker phones and shouts about bringing on the £100,000! Noel gets everyone to flap their arms like a fairy.

5 - Sam - 50p
15 - Kerry-Anne - 10p

Banker time
The banker says this game is already in a mess, and he knows it's cursed as the cleaner cursed it when she made a mess with the fairy dust! He says he has a gift for lucy, and it's a dustpan and brush.

Round 3
Annette next, and Noel chats to her about the posh hair extensions she wants.

Noel wonders if the fairy dust has yet to start working!

Banker time
The banker can be heard having a party! He says this is spectacularly bad luck, and is one of the top 5 worst games ever.

Lucy says

Round 4
Leroy yells at Lucy to try harder to find the 1p!

Banker time

Banker's offer:
£3,000

Lucy asks her boyfriend, who says it depends what she's come for, and talks about the state of the board. Leroy says he'd go one more round and find the 1p! Dom says it's a good offer for the board, and it's risky from now onwards.

Lucy says

Round 5
Noel says this will be OK if we have at least 2 blues here, and Leroy says she MUST find the 1p.

Banker time
Noel says we have a very modest climax to a game, yet again. He says the banker will focus on Lucy becoming the 37th member of the 1p club.

19 - Olga - £1,000

Banker time with £50 and £3,000 remaining...

The banker comments on how it's another blue vs £3k final 2. He's trying to find the figure Lucy wants now, and thanks to something her boyfriend said, thinks anything over £750 will do.

Banker's offer:
£751

The banker rings back and says he's being mean as he knows Lucy won't take the gamble and risk winning £50. She says part of her is thinking that she's been really unlucky and it could continue, but part of her thinks her luck has to change.

Lucy says
NO DEAL

Lucy wins £3,000 from her box 18.

Box 7 with Francesca contains the £50

Lucy says that feels good, and Noel says he can only imagine what it feels like to win at that point!
