Yvonne's Deal or No Deal Game Report 31/05/11
Yvonne has box 6 today. Yvonne's nickname is "Spidey" because she looks like a spider monkey. She's a chef at a nursery, and the children in the nursery have sent her a good luck card. She has husband Lee, her son, and his girlfriend in the audience for support today.
Yvonne had breast cancer at the age of 22. It came back when she was older and she had to spend her first christmas with her partner in hospital. She's now in the clear. She tells Noel he looks "really scrummy".
Round 1
Yvonne gets her family to pick boxes 18 and 22 to leave until the end.
4 - Iain - £1,000
3 - Zoileka - £10
1 - G - £75,000
11 - Anthony - £250,000
"You're rubbish" says Yvonne.
7 - Olga - £50,000
Banker time.
The banker is feeling on form. The banker tells Lee off for telling Yvonne she looks like a spider monkey. We are treated to a photo of one! The banker agrees she's small but strong but the board is on his side.
Banker's offer:
£1,150
Yvonne wants to know when she can have her tea.
Yvone says
NO DEAL
Round 2
Noel promises a revelation about Lee that Yvonne does not know. Noel and Yvonne agree that she's rubbish at this game. She adds box 8 to an ever increasing list of boxes she's leaving.
2 - Matt - £15,000
9 - Daryll - 10p
14 - Annette - £5,000
Banker time.
The revelation first. Yvonne doesn't know what her husband does for a living! Noel asks: "He renews people's gas supplies". Yvonne says when she asks he's still talking 10 minutes later and she loses interest.
The banker says he feels a bit more sympathy for Lee now.
Banker's offer:
£2,300
Yvonne says
NO DEAL
Round 3
Noel reiterates the boxes she can't pick and she appears confused. She has letters after her name apparantly. Noel suggests "TWIT". Noel gets Adam to pick one...
10 - Sam - £10,000
5 - Tony - £100
16 - Poppy - £5
Banker time.
Noel is comfy on the floor so gets Yvonne to get the phone. Yvonne picked the phone up and wiped it on her dress. Noel is unimpressed. The banker says there's now some money in the game and she might take it, even if she doesn't realise she'd be doing it.
Banker's offer:
£3,500
Yvonne never realised people asked Noel to ask them to ask the question.
Yvonne says
NO DEAL
Round 4
Charlie says he had a big red yesterday so is due a low blue.
20 - Charlie - £100,000
19 - Stacey - £50
Yvonne says if she has £35,000 in her box it'll all be good in the end. The banker rings and says in the six years he's been here and is almost on the verge of offering her money to get on with it and open a box.
17 - Leroy - £35,000
Banker time.
Banker's offer:
£750
There's still smile money there says Noel.
Yvonne says
NO DEAL
Round 5
Yvonne told her husband she needed 45 outfits for the show. The actual number is 15. She thought if she didn't win the game she'd at least get 45 outfits from it. 12, 15 and 21 are coming up for various reasons. Lee now says she should choose 22. They start arguing over it. She's now on about finding it harder now there's less boxes.
12 - Emma - £1
15 - Beryl-Anne - £500
21 - Jonny - 50p
Banker time.
Genius says the banker. The fact she's got him to the point he's willing to pay almost anything to get rid of her. Yvonne suggests £19,000. He says he's thinking about it.
Banker's offer:
£2,000
Good offer says Lee. Yvonne says £2,000 is nice, but she'd be over the moon with £20,000. Her family tell her to go for it.
Yvonne says

Box 18 with Ade contains the £750

George's Deal or No Deal Game Report 30/05/11
George has box 21 today. George Cook is a part-time English and Maths tutor at the weekends, and a stage management student during the week... he's from Rainham, Essex.
His first photo is of him (aged 7) at his mother's wedding, which he sees as the start of when he started to come out of his shell. Another photo of his family comes out, and he says that he doesn't let his family members make him make his mind up. When asked if his determination will carry him through the game, he simply says he'll see how it plays out.
Round 1
George has an envelope to be passed onto the Banker, but will not give it to him yet.
5 - £3,000 Matt
1 - 10p Newbie Stacey
12 - 50p Emma
16 - 1p Olga
George emphasises he has no system, and asks someone for a box!
22 - £100 Jonny
Banker time.
Banker says he can't remember the last time such a young player was consulted for advice so often, and cannot read him... that plus the board worries him. He isn't sure if he is a risk-taker or a target-driven player... George makes the tactical blunder of writing a target in the book, but the Banker thinks his target might simply be an OPW!
Banker's offer:
£16,000
The Banker said if his aim was a spanking, he could get it with this offer! George points out that as a student, £16,000 would "do him wonders". He decides to pass his envelope on at this point. Noel asks if we'll find out what the envelope contains, and George says we may not find out...
George says
NO DEAL
Noel wonders if we'll learn about both the envelope gift and George in this round!
Round 2
9 - £50 Anthony
20 - £10 Irene
2 - £250,000 Charlie
Banker time
Massive relief for the Banker, who confirms the contents of the envelope will be revealed at the end of the game, but was "brilliant" and "very funny". He's now anticipating George might not be stopped...
Banker's offer:
£12,000
George calls the offers "incredible". He says the only two people who could make him change his mind are not in the audience - for that very reason. They are his mum and nan. He says he is here to enjoy himself, and that there is more of that left.
George says
NO DEAL
Round 3
15 - £250 Zoleka
4 - £5 Poppy
Noel starts presuming George is an "OHO", and that the block of reds makes this "astonishing". George calls for a pilgrim to choose the next box.
8 - £50,000 Beryl-Anne
Banker time
Banker says he has no room to go down.
Banker's offer:
£12,000
He calls upon Stuart, who talks the game up, and says that he can "make his own luck". George talks about destiny and the like, but adds it is scary to know he is not in control of his game.
G is consulted. George mentions that G's advice was to take each offer as it came and consider what dreams can be fulfilled with those offers. George is looking at going to America to follow his stage management ambitions there, which £12,000 would do...
Noel reminds him £16,000 and £12,000 have already been declined...
George says
NO DEAL
Round 4
11 - £35,000 Leroy
Noel talks up the importance of the next two boxes.
3 - £75,000 Daryl
Noel now calls it a one-box game. This is turning around quicker than the playoff final.
6 - £10,000 Sam
Banker time.
The Banker says luck trumps everything in this game.
Banker's offer:
£7,000
Dannii says the chance of taking out the top three are "very slim". The Banker phones up to confirm an "almost 40%" chance of £100k going in this round.
George says
NO DEAL
Noel says the Banker started by saying how stressed he was, and how unsure he was about his read on George, but that his job has been made easier by the board weakening.
Round 5
17 - £15,000 Annette
"Could be the start of a disaster, could be absolutely fine," Noel muses.
7 - £1 Yvonne
George is now guaranteed £500.
9 - £1,000 Ian
Banker time.
Banker says it's not the best round, but not the worst; he has responded to the previous gamble.
Banker's offer:
£14,000
George says
NO DEAL
Round 6
Box 10 is chosen after pilgrim consultation, but then we get a Banker phone call interruption... "this is all about you," he says, and he's not letting him go to the pilgrims for box choices! He says he believes in other people more than luck, though, so...
10 - £750 Tony
Noel tells George to stay focused. The Banker responds with yet another phone call. George was just saying only two people could change his mind... the Banker wants to be the third, and throws in a bonus offer to that effect!
Banker's offer:
£23,000
George is told by one person on the wings that he should go if he's reached his target. Stuart makes a statement to the effect of reminding him of the envelope's relevance. George admits the £23,000 offer has "stopped him". He had his sixth round planned out, he said, despite him going to a pilgrim at the start of it...
George says
NO DEAL
Round 6 - Box 2
18 - £5,000 Dannii
Banker thinks Stuart is controlling this game rather than George...
Banker's offer:
£30,000
"Stuart's nothing to do with this", George insists. The two family members he says he could be swung by both suggested a box to leave.
"I'm not a gambler," George says. Stuart says it's "a better offer than I've seen in a long while", thus showing he wasn't here for last Tuesday's display of gambling...
George says
NO DEAL
Round 6 - Final box
13 - £500 G
Banker time with £20,000 and £100,000 remaining
The Banker now reveals the gift. "A half-used loyalty card from a chicken restaurant." It's to do with how George saves his money as a student...
Banker's offer:
£60,000
George now reveals his target on the book... £9.30. I kid ye not. That's because it's what he spends on his regular fast food order at that chicken restaurant... £20,000 is "a lot of £9.30s", he says. 2,150, to be exact. G urges him "don't gamble". It's a £40,000 gamble, he points out.
George says
DEAL
Noel is worried about how George was staring into his eyes at every offer!
Noel opens box 21 and reveals £100,000
Box 14 is revealed to contain £20,000

Stacey has box 22 today. Stacey is studying sociology. She is also a sales assistant, but apparently she is rubbish at the job and never reaches her targets.
We see a picture of Stacey with her boyfriend Guy, followed by a picture of her friends. She has a friend and her mum in the audience today to support her.
Round 1
Stacey hasn't got a system.
3 - Charlie - £10
The Banker calls up and says the newbie is posh and asks if she's in the wrong place and if she was looking for the Antiques Roadshow.
20 - Beryl-Anne (Newbie) - £50
12 - Anita - £15,000
15 - Olga - £500
16 - Iain - £3,000
Banker time.
The Banker says he's been looking forward to Stacey's game and he's been watching her at the hotel. Apparently she was moo-ing at everyone and he has the evidence. The Banker then shows a picture of Stacey in a cow costume. Stacey says they're her pyjamas. She says she got locked out of her own room which is why she was wandering round the hotel in her pyjamas. The Banker says he's worried about Stacey because she's looney.
Banker's offer:
£8,000
Stacey says
NO DEAL
Round 2
Noel tells us that Stacey wanted to become an electrician, but had a thing about floorboards. Before Tony opens his box Stacey asks if he can do his dad dancing - which he does.

1 - Matt - 50p
11 - Sam - £1,000
Banker time
The Banker thought Tony's moves were quality. The Banker decides to stick.

Banker's offer:
£11,000
Stacey goes to talk to George. He says to be a bit brave, but do consider the £11.000. She says if she takes out the top 3 she'll be chasing the £20,000.

Stacey says if she takes out the £250,000 then £20,000 is only £2,000 below what he's offered. The Banker rings up and points out that she'd have to play to the end then. He says very few have been as brave as Stacey and not to risk it. Stacey's mum tells her to listen to the Banker as it's a lot of money. Stacey says she only earns around £5,000 a year. As long as the £250,000 remains Stacey says her next offer should be £60,000+.
Stacey says

That is the end of the scale now says Ron. The Banker says that was looking like an all-blue round, but that £10,000 makes a difference.

Banker's offer:
£5,500
The Banker says that the offer is tailored to Ron. Ron says he could do his musical hotspots trip with that money.
Ron says
NO DEAL
Ron says that he suddenly felt like gambling and he felt the £5,500 wasn't just enough.
The Banker calls and says that Ron's game is going to have a big finish one way or the other.
Banker's offer:

Ron says
NO SWAP
Noel opens Ron's box 19 and reveals £15,000
Box 21 with Lucy contains the £250
Noel says that he is really, really pleased with that result, and it is quite amazing when you consider that Ron is in that elite group of 3 who have taken out the top 3 amounts in 1 round.

She asks what her boyfriend thinks, and they talk about the upsides and downsides of both. Noel also confirms that Abbey gets the swap at the end if she plays the cowboys.
