Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Ryan's Deal or No Deal Game Report 27/11/09

Noel says people come with their dreams and ambitions. He says he feels there's an extra energy at the moment and a belief that everyone can get the most out of the game and beat the banker. He talks about the aura that Carl left yesterday.

Ryan has box 21. Ryan is a brick layer from Exeter. Noel says there's MORTAR that than we realise. He has his girlfriend in the audience today. We get to see some pics of his family. Ryan says he has plenty of things to do with the money, and he speaks about having a campervan.

Round 1
Noel says Ryan believes in karma.

Banker time
The banker says Ryan is a mop-headed simpleton!! He talks about Ryan's belief in karma...

Noel says that is astonishing and Ryan says it's massive. Ronnie reminds Ryan about what they've talked about.

Ryan says

Round 2
Ryan reveals that he doesn't fear much, so won't be scared of the banker.

Noel says Ryan would like to have his own business and build his own home.

Banker time
Noel says the board has an interesting shape. The banker talks about the advice Ryan has given on the wings, and has noted that he normally says 'no deal'.

Banker's offer:

Noel says the banker is having a joust with Ryan. Ryan's girlfriend says it's up to him, and he says she's the total opposite to him! He explains how he is quite emotional and can get angry. The banker phones and wants to know what pushes Ryan over the edge! The banker asks if people telling him he looks like Frank Spencer pushes him over the edge! Noel then gets out a hat for Ryan to wear and he gets him to do an "Ooh Betty". The banker phones again and raises the offer!

Noel says that's an interesting board now. The banker is unsure what to do here as Ryan consistently says 'no deal'. He's worried that Ryan could have a strong game after this.

Ryan asks what his girlfriend thinks and she says the offer's alright, and Ryan talks about how he won't be here ever again. Emma reminds Ryan that he's always said this is his one chance...

Noel says this round will decide which way the game swings.

Banker time
Noel says that box didn't balance the loss of the £250k enough. The banker thinks Ryan will deal now the £250k has gone.

Noel says Ryan is here to make the most of his opportunity.

Ryan says it's tiring doing this!

Noel says that's 'big grin' money, and it's a big recovery from £5k. Ryan's girlfriend comes down to the pound table, and he speaks about the 1 in 5 chance of winning £100k. Katie says only the really brave people win the big money, and Andrew talks about the board and asks if the offer's enough for Ryan. Ryan says there's risk-taking and then there's being silly...
