Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Lucy's Deal or No Deal Game Report 04/11/09

Noel talks about how the banker rewards courage with good offers, and he says how quite a few of the players have phobias and maybe they shouldn't have put it in their file!

Lucy has box 18.

Lucy is involved with house repossessions for a living!! She has her husband with her in the audience, and she explains she met him when she had a leaking toilet, as he was from the water company and visited her house. They're planning to get married next year and would like some money to support that. She has a little knitted soft-toy with her.

Round 1
Lucy is keeping 4, 9, 1, 14 and 22....
20 - Dickie - £35,000
3 - Craig - £10,000
10 - Anita - £250

2 - Shaz - 10p

Banker time
The banker says there's romance in the studio, as Dickie has pulled Mary. She admits she likes Dickie, especially when he has custard on him.

Banker's offer:
£2,000 + dozen red roses

Lucy says

15 - Ronnie - £1,000
5 - Terry - £5

Banker time
The banker is looking forward to making Lucy the 25th member of the 1p club. He'll give her generous offers if Lucy's husband promises to buy her flowers once every 3 months!! Gary says DEAL

That's a really good offer says Lucy.

Lucy says

Banker time
The banker says that was a tough round for Lucy.

The banker tells Lucy to accept that she's never going to win a lot.

Noel says that was really cruel and unlucky. Lucy brings her fiancee down to the pound table.

Banker's offer:
£1,500

Lucy says that's a good offer. Debs tells Lucy's fiancee that he should encourage Lucy now.

Ooh crumbs, says Noel. Lucy says she's worried about winning 1p.
14 - Caz - 1p

Banker time
The banker admires Lucy's honesty and says he wants to go to her wedding! He speaks about her winning a blue...

Banker's offer:
£4,000

If Lucy says no deal, and doesn't touch the £50k, the next offer will be £21,000.

Noel says a typical British wedding costs £18,000 and a honeymoon costs £3,000 which is why the banker offered £21,000. Paul and Debs offer some advice, and say how the bad luck won't necessarily continue. Her fiancee says she should take the money if she thinks the bad luck will continue.

Lucy says
NO DEAL

Round 6
Lucy is keeping 4 to the end.

Alex says he hasn't had a big value since he arrived here.

Banker time with £50 and £50,000 remaining

Noel mops up Lucy's tears as she gets rather emotional.

Banker's offer:

Noel says Lucy's game has been one of the unluckiest games recently, up until this point.

Lucy says
DEAL

Noel says people won't be too distressed if she has £50,000 in her box after the game she had.

Lucy has £50,000 in her box 18.

Ginge with box 4 contains the £50

The banker phones. Noel gets Lucy's fiancee to go off set. He returns with a big bouquet of flowers for Lucy.
