Deal or No Deal is enjoyed my millions of viewers daily, where the contestants battle with The Banker to try and win a jackpot of £250,000. Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Alex's Deal or No Deal Game Report 11/11/09

Noel talks about the fascinating, inspirational and emotional games we've had lately. He says some people are really surprised when their name gets called to play, and he runs through some of the players who are on the radar to play...

Alex has box 22.

Alex speaks about how his grandfather moved from Hungary to the UK when he was 14. He has his girlfriend Gemma in the audience, and she explains that they first met when they were 1 year old, and then met again when they were 21, and Alex recognised her! Noel asks if it was because she was wearing a nappy

He shows a pic of him and Gemma in a pub in Hungary, and another pic of their dog on a boat... Noel asks Alex about the feelings he has for boxes, and he says it's a coincidence he has box 22 and has done 22 shows...

Round 1
16 - Craig - £100,000
Noel says that's what Alex had yesterday. Bibs now, and Noel talks about how she's had big values in her boxes.
2 - Bibs - £250,000
Alex says he doesn't believe it! Noel says that was awful!
3 - Mike - £1
7 - Mary - £3,000
8 - Angela - £500

Banker time
Noel says what an opener. The banker can be heard laughing wildly down the phone!! He then chats up Alex's girlfriend. He promises no mind games...

Round 2
Newbie Peter now, and Noel has some banter with him about his home town...
15 - newbie Peter - £15,000
6 - Emma - £20,000
Noel tells a story about how as a taxi driver, Alex helped a lady into her house with the shopping, and her husband attacked him with a hammer!!!
19 - Carl - £5,000

Banker time
Noel says this is a bad day for touchy-feely people, and says Alex was about 75% accurate in his predictions before. The banker says he feels sympathy for Alex!

Round 3
Alex runs through the boxes he's keeping for now (1, 14, 12). Caz recommends a speed round, so we have one!

Banker time
Noel says no-one in the history of the show has ever taken out 1p, 10p and 50p and Alex is the first person to do it. The banker says that's the worst quickie he's ever had and he can't believe it!

Alex says thanks, that's a very nice offer.

The banker phones back and tells Alex to take his time as he doesn't like it when he rushes!

Alex introduces us to Gemma's brother who's in the audience.
13 - Anita - £10
Noel says how Alex has been taking out the lowest blues, almost in order.
4 - Ceri - £100

Banker time
"OH WHAT! This is amazing" says Noel... the banker says "I DON'T BELIEEEEVE IT"! He says Alex took out £15.61 in those boxes. He says the odds of doing that are about 3 million to 1.

Banker's offer:

Noel says Alex could have a disastrous round now, but says he could also keep up his good fortune.

5 - Rio - £10,000
21 - Shaz - £50,000
10 - Andrew - £1,000

Banker time
The banker says that's not as disastrous as he'd have liked.

Banker's offer:

Alex gives it some thought, and Emma says prior to this game, 2 players have missed out on the £75k recently so maybe this is 3rd time lucky. Ryan asks if Alex thinks he'll get £10k again with a blue vs £35k, and Alex says he's not sure. Charmaine asks what advice Alex would give to others in his position. Noel sits in the chair and asks Alex, who says he should go for it!

14 - Rob - £75,000
12 - Ronnie - £250

Banker time with £50 and £750 remaining.

Noel says the taxi driver's given us quite a ride!

Alex wins £50 from his box 22.

Noel says this game has had 3 parts with starting off badly, getting better and crashing at the end! Alex says well that's life....
