Emma's Deal or No Deal Game Report 30/11/09

Noel says this is the fear factory right now, and he says he knows someone who has lots of fears about playing the game, and that person is him!

Emma has box 20. Everyone's wearing a flower on their tops (presumably for St. Andrew's Day today!). Emma is from Chelmsford in Essex. Emma is a full-time mum but used to be an estate agent. We get to see pics of Emma's daughter and husband. Apparently she's not missing Emma at all. Emma has some wooden spoons with her which have been decorated by her daughter to make them look like their family! She says this game is a game of randomness...

Round 1
Emma does have 3 numbers she wants to keep, which are 22, 14 and 10. Her lucky number is 11.
She gets everyone pumped up before the game starts...
19 - Andy - £10
Emma says she may go and stand in her spot on the wing to give herself some advice!
6 - Gillian - £1
2 - Bev - £250
8 - Corinne - £50,000
4 - Freddie - 10p

Banker time
The banker wishes everyone a happy St. Andrew's Day. He says Emma has given excellent sage advice while she's been on the wings.

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Noel says that's a rather good offer and Emma says it's generous. Emma says 'no deal' before Noel asks the question.

Emma officially says
NO DEAL !

Round 2
17 - Angela - £75,000
Emma pumps everyone up again by getting them to shout "ENERGY"! She explains why 11 is her lucky number, and says that when she was a girl, she fancied Ryan Giggs who was number 11!
15 - Andrew - £5,000
13 - Peter - £50

Banker time
The banker says Emma needs to win a lot of money after insulting the whole of Liverpool, and she'll never be able to go back to Chelmsford!

Banker's offer:
£12,500

Emma says that's still very generous.

Emma says
NO DEAL

Round 3
9 - Katie - £35,000
1 - Neil - 1p
Emma says there's smile money at the top of the board, and set-up money in the middle and life-changing money at the bottom...
3 - Michelle - £750

Banker time
Emma says she's happy with that... The banker says he liked how Emma reads the board, and he's finding it tricky to make the right offer now...

Banker's offer:
£15,000

Noel asks Emma what her husband wants her to win, and she says he's said that anything she wins is a bonus.

Emma says
NO DEAL

Round 4
Noel and Emma build everyone up again!!
12 - Monique - £20,000
Helen now, and Noel asks her some questions but she doesn't answer!
18 - Helen - £100,000
Emma says 'fiddlesticks' and Noel says that's an understatement!
Noel explains Emma would like to go to uni and become a primary school teacher, but otherwise she'd like to do ballroom dancing!
11 - Newbie Abbie - £3,000

Banker time
Emma says she's happy with this 8-box. The banker says he finds Emma formidable, and he says her board is precarious...

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Noel says that's disappointing, yes, but it was a ghastly round. Peter tells Emma to go with her heart! Emma goes to her spot on the east wing and speaks about how she's weighing up the game.

Emma says
NO DEAL

Round 5
7 - Dan - £500
21 - Hollie - £100
Noel says this box is a huge one in Emma's life.
5 - Harry - £10,000
Noel says that's ok.

Banker time
The banker says Emma has a red remaining in each of the three categories she described earlier. He calls the 2 blues the 'laugh money'! He admires Emma's bravery up to this point...

Banker's offer:
£23,000

Emma says that's a massive sum of money. Franny says we wouldn't like to see Emma win a blue, and Peter asks if the money would fulfil her dreams. Emma says she's thinking of the devil's advocate, and how she has two 'voices' in her head at the moment. She also says box 16 is making her nervous, and that'd be the next box she'd take out.

The banker phones and says he also has 2 voices in his head! The banker promises that if Emma says NO DEAL, he'll make an offer immediately after she opens box 16. Peter tells her to follow her heart again...

Emma says
DEAL

Round 6, part 1 (proveout)

22 - Charmaine - £1,000

Banker time with £15,000 and £250,000 remaining

Banker's offer would've been:
£101,000

Emma asks if she'd have swapped at this point and she says she wouldn't have. She says she's gutted and Noel says this is a most unusual game.

Emma has £250,000 in her box 20.

Noel says Emma would've had the confetti that she craved. Silence falls on the studio.

Emma says she let her head rule her heart and she shouldn't have done. However, she says £23k will be life changing for her

Box 10 with Flo contains the £15,000
