Phil's Deal or No Deal Game Report 19/12/11 - Christmas Panto Specials

Phil has box 5. Phil is from London, and is a learning support mentor, working with young children to help them develop their skills and get qualifications. He talks about what he does, and Noel says his enthusiasm for his job is infectious. Phil shows a photo of his family, and he has various family members in the audience today. Noel shows us a stone that Phil has, and he says it heats up when he holds it.

Round 1
The banker rings and wishes everyone a merry Christmas, and says everyone looks incredible. He then explains the Panto twist.

Christmas Panto Specials twist:

The magic lamp in the studio will either make the player's wish come true, or the banker's wish come true. When the player gets to 5-box, they choose one of 3 doors in the lamp's smoke. 1 door has the banker's wish behind it, but 2 doors have the player's wish behind it. If the player's wish comes true, the player can either advance one box at a time after 5-box, win a holiday or choose a present from the Christmas tree. One present has a pair of the banker's pants in it and the other one has £5,000. If the banker gets his wish come true, then he'll look in the player's box.

Twist time...

Phil has to choose the red, green or blue door in the smoke from the genie's lamp. Phil rubs the lamp and chooses the green door.

Noel opens it and reveals THE PLAYER'S WISH

The blue door contains the other player's wish and the red door contains the banker's wish.

Phil now has to choose one of the three wishes, and he decides to PROCEED ONE BOX AT A TIME.

Banker time
The banker says Phil's wish is absolutely correct.

Banker's offer:
£20,000

Phil says that's crazy, and Noel says the offer is high because Phil only has to open one box at a time. Phil says he takes home about £1,000 a month, and it's a lot of money, and he's feeling scared now! The banker rings and says this will be an interesting decision, and Phil should deal. He tells Phil that if he goes on and the next box is 1p, the offer would be £30,000. Phil says feels a bit poorly and the banker rings to make sure he's alright, because he loses all the money if he faints.

Phil says
DEAL
