Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Daphne's Deal or No Deal Game Report 15/12/11

Daphne has box 9 today. Daphne used to be a ticket collector for 22 years on the underground, and she says that she misses it now. Noel says that Daphne looks very good for her age and asks her how she does it, and Daphne says that it is through clean living. But her friend in the audience says that she forgot to mention the rum that helps with her good living! We get to see a picture of Daphne with her late husband, who died 6 months after being diagnosed with cancer. We see a few more pictures of her family and friend who helped her apply for the show. Daphne says she is so glad to meet Noel and also hopes to meet the Banker, and she thinks he is Terry Wogan

Daphne picks box 9 next, but struggles to find it, until Noel points out she has it!

Banker time
That's a good opening round says Noel. The Banker takes his time to call, and Daphne wonders if the Banker is coming out to meet her. The Banker puts on a Terry Wogan impression and says he is a little late as he was just doing the Floral dance

Oh my word says Noel, this is amazing. Daphne says that she gets up at 6 every morning and Noel asks what she does at that time of the day, and she says that she watches all the repeats of her soaps, and she watches them all

Banker time
Noel tells the Banker he isn't having a good day today so far. The Banker says that he is in trouble.

Daphne says that is a lovely offer, but she is going on a little more....

That's not a disaster says Noel

Banker time
He's going to have to go up again says Noel. The Banker says he is going to have to try and appeal to Daphne as he is in trouble, and says that the Woolpack is on fire, there has been a tram crash, and they'll have to cancel the game.

Banker's offer:
£20,000

Noel runs through the offers and finishes with an Eastenders 'Dum Dum Dum Dum' Daphne gets some advice from the wings.

Daphne says

Round 4
Daphne says she would like to spend any winnings on a holiday and her children.

Oh my word says Noel.

Banker time
Oh what a rotten round says Noel. The Banker says before that he wasn't happy about this game.

Noel says that Daphne needs to think about this. Daphne goes to her friend and the wings for some advice.

Daphne says

That shocks Noel, and he asks everyone if they thought Daphne was playing on, and most thought she was...

Round 5 - Proveout round

Banker time
Ohhh, whoops says Noel, although he doesn't think it was a big whoops. Noel says the Banker is very funny trying to do a Terry Wogan impression.

Banker time with £1,000 and £75,000 remaining

Noel thinks this is now a big whoops.

Noel open's Daphne's box 9 and reveals £1,000

Box 8 with Amy Jo contains the £75,000

Daphne says that the win will do a lot for her and her family. Daphne then asks Noel when she is seeing the Banker, and Noel asks if she wants to see him right now and then takes her off to see him
