Gary's Deal or No Deal Game Report 07/12/11

Gary has box 11 today. Gary is a graduate student in opera from Cardiff, he talks about how he originally studied as an actor, but then fancied trying out singing. We get to see a picture of Gary's mum and dad, and his mum is in the audience for support today. We also see a photo of Gary's fiancee. He also has his auntie and cousin in the audience.

Round 1
Gary says that he never thought numbers would play a part in his game, but he does have some important numbers, 11 which he has, 22, 4 and 13.
20 - £50,000 Clare
6 - 50p Phil
16 - £1 Frank
9 - £15,000 Daniela

Banker time
The Banker says he loves all the operas, Corrie, Eastenders, Hollyoaks! He says that there are hundreds of opera singers that people have never heard of, and Gary is about to become another of those!

Banker's offer:

Gary asks if he is serious offering a Tenner! (Tenor )

Gary says

Noel asks if the opera starts to rub off with people around Gary, as Noel starts singing! The Banker threatens to tell a story about Gary that will shake us to the core! He says that Gary is the dad of the group and today he was late for the bus to the studio, and he blamed his mum for it!

Banker's offer:

That is a lot of money to me at the moment says Gary. Noel asks him if opera pays well, and Gary says it can do in the future, but he has just been a student for 10 years.

Gary says

Round 3
Noel starts some deep breathing and gets the wings to join in with him.

15 - £5,000 Shakira
Noel asks Gary to entertain us with some singing, and Gary performs 'Oh what a beautiful morning'
17 - £250,000 David

Banker time

Banker's offer:

Gary says he hasn't come here for that. Gary's auntie says 'stuff the Banker'! The Banker calls back and asks if that was really just said!

Round 4

That is a cracking start says Noel.
10 - £75,000 Elaine
19 - £10,000 Kim

Banker time
That is exactly what you didn't want at this stage says Noel. The Banker says that this game isn't giving Gary a chance.

Banker's offer:

Gary says that if he plays on he knows exactly what boxes he will open as he has already picked his boxes. Gary's mum suggests he turns that around and chooses the numbers he was going to save, but Gary says that goes against what he had decided at the start and what do say if they all turn out reds. Gary goes for a sweep of the wings. Everyone says NO DEAL...

Gary says

Round 5
8 - £10 Tristan
2 - £50 Iain
18 - £35,000 Baz

Banker time
That has been the story of the game, every round has had a power 5 says Noel. The Banker tells Gary to look on the bright side, at least he can't hit a power 5 in the next round!

Banker's offer:

Gary says he cannot believe it, and he doesn't know how he will choose the order of his last 3 boxes. He also said that if his game ended up in a precarious position he wouldn't want to go home with a blue. He then tries to work out the order in which he would pick his boxes. He says that £1,400 is a nice sum of money, and he could do a lot with that.

Gary says

Round 6 - Proveout round
4 - £500 Lawrence
22 - £250 Emma
You are joking says Gary.
13 - £5 Charlton

Banker time with £3,000 and £20,000 remaining

This is a nightmare says Gary.

Banker's offer would've been:

Noel opens Gary's box 11 and reveals £3,000

Box 7 with Andria contains the £20,000

That softens the blow a little says Gary, and he did what he wanted, which was to not go home with a blue.
