David's Deal or No Deal Game Report 09/12/11
David has box 5. Noel has trouble pronouncing David's surname, and David reveals it's a Canadian name and he was born in Canada. David is the former mayor of Slough, and we get to see a photo of him with his wife, while he was wearing his mayor outfit. David has a crystal mouse with him which was given to him by a psychic, and he was told he'd never be penniless while he had it.
Round 1
David asks that no-one gives him advice, and he'll blame the mouse if things go wrong. He uses the mouse to help him choose the boxes!

David says the mouse could fetch a lot on eBay if it works! Noel starts laughing and sets David off doing his donkey laugh.

Noel spots that the values so far have all had 5s in them.
8 - Baz - £250
Banker time
The banker says this is a huge relief, as he's had complaints that a man at the hotel bar has been claiming to be a former mayor, who has been asking ladies if they want to see his one-eyed mouse.
Banker's offer:
£10,000 + 2 weeks of therapy and an oxygen mask!
David says

Round 2
David continues to get the mouse to choose the boxes.

The banker thinks everyone who lives near David is currently moving out in a hurry.

David says that's not a bad offer at all. David asks the mouse for advice and Noel asks David if he takes medication!

David he's going to keep going as far as he can if the big values remain on the board.

David starts dowsing using the mouse, and the banker rings and gets him to do it again, whilst he plays an audio recording of David's laugh.

Banker time
David asks if he can talk to the banker, and the banker doesn't know if he should dare! The banker says only one thing surprises him more than the mouse, and that's that David was an elected public official.
Banker's offer:
£16,500
David says that's good, real money, and he could do a lot with it, including seeing his family in Canada.

David's wife says she doesn't want to pressurise him, but it's a good offer and he needs to think about it, and she'll support whatever decision he makes. The banker rings and David speaks to him, and David reveals that the banker pointed out that the offer will drop even if he hits one of the big values. He says he'd really like to go on.

Round 5
Noel says the majority of times the player speaks to the banker, they end up dealing, but David spoke to him and carried on.

Banker time
Noel says David faces a very difficult decision now. The banker asks how much he wants for the mouse, but he won't sell it!

David says that's not money to sneeze at! He says he's seen people get caught up with the excitement of the game, and he could still win £10. Noel says David would have the biggest crash ever if he went on and took out the top 3. David says he's got to go with what he feels.

Noel reminds us that no man has yet won the £250k.

"Oh well", says David. Noel says he really thought he was going to win the £250k.

Banker time with £10 and £5,000 remaining...
Noel says that was total destruction and it's unbelievably cruel. The banker says it's hard for him not to gloat.
Banker's offer:
£2,000
David asks his wife to join him at the table, and she says she's probably deal now, but it's David's decision. David says he thought it was worth going for it, but he doesn't want to risk going with £10 now.

David has £5,000 in his box 5.

David says he tried and went for it, and he's had a lot of fun.
