Tom's Deal or No Deal Game Report 01/04/11

A Halloween week photo of Noel dressed as a pixie playing a pipe appears on the gameboard during the intro.

Noel says this has been a shocking week for those who poo-poo lucky numbers, and he says there's only one number now - 42, and you need the "forty-twoo-d" to take on the banker.

Tom has box 13. Tom's full name is Tom Jones, and Noel starts the Tom Jones puns. Tom is a plumber, and he says old ladies love it when Tom Jones fixes their boiler. Tom has his girlfriend in the audience and he introduces us to her, then he shows a photo of him wakeboarding and water skiing, and another pic of him and his family on a boat. He speaks about how he's bet a Belgian bun at work, and they only bet in cakes!

Round 1
Tom tells a story of how he played the phone game of DoND and won the £250k twice in box 18!
3 - Shannon - 1p
The banker phones and says typical Tom Jones, kissing the women after the first box.
12 - Dave - £500
8 - Gordon - £1,000
16 - Vera - 10p
19 - Anthony - £250,000

Banker time
Noel says Anthony had the £250,000 yesterday, and the banker says that's not unusual. He tells Noel to keep an eye on the intro of today's show, and wishes him a happy April Fool's Day! Noel says he once did a duet with Tom Jones. Noel said there was once a contestant called Robbie Williams, and he had an extravagant intro, so he gets Tom to do a similar intro with Tom Jones music playing.

Banker's offer:
£7,500

Tom says it's a good offer.

Tom says
NO DEAL

Round 2
21 - Abiola - £50,000
22 - Becky - £15,000
6 - Hilde - 50p

Banker time
The banker talks about how Hilde does a rhyme whenever she opens her box, and she says she has a message for the banker but will leave it for her game, if she's chosen. Noel says DoND is like death as it's certain you'll be chosen, and she talks about death. She then does a little rhyme for the banker anyway, and the banker reads some back to her but she gets confused and thinks Noel made them!

Banker's offer:
£7,500

Tom talks about all the holidays he'd like to give to his family members with any winnings!

Tom says
NO DEAL

Round 3
1 - Ian - £250
5 - Jack - £20,000
7 - Bev - £50

Noel says that's good as this game has been unlucky, and Paul says it'd be very unlucky to take out the top 3.

Newbie Ziggy now, and Noel says he's a fountain of useless info!
4 - newbie Ziggy - £100
15 - Jim - £750
10 - Tanya - £1

Banker time
The banker says this is a different board now.

Banker's offer:
£16,000

Ziggy talks about how 13 was the last contestant's lucky number and Tom has box 13, and Noel says all the recent newbies have said stupid things lately! Tanya says everything turns around on April Fool's Day.

Tom says
NO DEAL

Round 5
Noel says he thinks a lot of people would've gone at this point.
2 - Will - £100,000
9 - Tara - £5
17 - Sophie - £10,000

Banker time

Banker's offer:
£15,450

Paul says this is a hard one to call, and warns Tom that sometimes people crash from big offers down to nothing. Tom's girlfriend asks how upset he'd be at the various scenarios, and he says he'd be devastated to win £10. Ziggy tries to offer some advice and Noel says he's on course to win a Nobel dumb prize.

Tom says
DEAL

Round 6 - proveout
11 - Natalie - £5,000
Noel says that doesn't tell us anything.

Tom says
NO DEAL

He keeps the £15,450.

Tom says he'd have said NO SWAP here.

Tom has £3,000 in his box 13.

Box 18 with Hugo contains the £35,000

Noel says Tom is no April Fool, and Tom says he's won such a lot of money and it'll do so much for him and his family.
