Shannon's Deal or No Deal Game Report 12/04/11

Shannon has box 8. Noel gets on his knees and apologises for making fun of Shannon's hair when she was a newbie! Shannon is a law student from York, and also works in a shop. She speaks a bit about her law studies and says she wants to be a solicitor, and is looking for work experience. She introduces us to a couple of friends she has in the audience, and shows us a photo of her cat. We also get to see a pic of her in fancy dress with all her friends, dressed up as cows!

Shannon says she feels a bit poorly today but is feeling fit for the game.

Round 1
6 - Sarah - 10p
16 - Abiola - £10,000
20 - Gordon - £250
10 - Debs - £15,000
5 - Andrea - £1,000

Banker time
The banker says he's been looking forward to Shannon's game, and says she has a good fashion sense. Noel picks on the newbie Iain, because he's wearing an orange shirt which clashes with the set. The banker says he may offer £10,000 now.

Banker's offer:

Round 2
7 - Tara - £1
3 - Al - £50
12 - Hugo - £250,000

Banker time
The banker says he's seen extraordinary things at the hotel, including Shannon doing an impression of someone who's pregnant! She says she can't do it as she's not eaten enough, so Noel gets Hugo to do it.

Banker's offer:

Round 3
15 - Ziggy - £100
2 - Anthony - £35,000
Noel talks about the phobias that Shannon has, including a fear of blunt pencils and a fear of banging cutlery! Noel then throws some cutlery on the pound table and Shannon hates it.
11 - Jim - £5,000

Banker time
The banker tells Noel off for throwing the cutlery around!

Banker's offer:

Shannon's friends say she still has some big values with backups, and it's unlikely she'll take out high values in the next round. Hugo says there's still another round in it.

Shannon says

Round 4
4 - Helen - £750
Noel says newbie Iain is a statistical analyst in sports, and says he looks like a giraffe waiting to eat.
1 - newbie Iain - £5
21 - Tanya - £20,000

Banker time
Noel says the 1p has really pulled the offers down recently, but Shannon still has 3 big values. The banker says the solidity of those 3 values balances out the dragging power of the 1p.

Banker's offer:

Shannon says if she plays on now, she thinks she'll play on to the end. Shannon talks about Sophie's game, and Jim points out that Shannon's game is different. Her friends say she's given out good advice to the others, and she needs to go with how she feels. Shannon says she has no idea what to do, and Noel helps her by running through the possible outcomes of the next round, and she says she's worried that she doesn't have any good backups. Noel talks about the rise of the OHO, and wonders if that is an influencing factor here.

Shannon says
