Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Paul's Deal or No Deal Game Report 08/09/10

Noel talks about Balbina's game yesterday and says he is really exhausted after it, it was the perfect marriage of player and board. He runs through the game and how she declined £45,000 but missed out on the big money in a dramatic final round.

Paul has box 16 today. Paul was in advertising, but was made redundant. Noel asks if it was because he had to keep popping out for a pee! We get to see some of Paul's photos, there is a family holiday photo and another of his sister. Paul has his girlfriend in the audience for support, and his mum and dad are also there.

We are in an era of some amazing opening rounds says Noel. Noel lets us hear the Banker who is in the toilet!! The Banker says he has been looking forward to Paul's game, and was going to have a go at Paul for all the 1p's that he has had, but he redeemed himself yesterday in Balbina's game

Paul says that is still respectable as he took out the £100,000, and that offer is still a good family holiday.

Oh my word says Noel. The Banker says that sometimes you could believe this game isn't random at all.

It is now a totally one box game says Noel. The Banker says the 1p looms large at the moment.

Max says there are more blues to hit now, but Jade warns him that if he hits the £50,000 then he won't see that again. Paul's dad says he should play on.

You have to take out that 1p says Noel.

Paul picks box 6 but then changes his mind and picks box 14. The Banker then calls and says he doesn't want to complicate things but last time Paul changed his mind it went wrong!

The Banker says there were no peaks and troughs in Paul's game, it was just all the way down.
