Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Balbina's Deal or No Deal Game Report 07/09/10

Noel says we have arrived at another milestone today, as it is the 1,400th show and he wonders where all the time has gone ago.

Balbina has box 13 today. Balbina is from Leeds, although originally from Spain. Balbina talks about how she came to be in England, and we get to see a picture of her children, and 2 of her daughters are in the audience for support today, she also shows us a picture of her after she passed her driving test, which took 8 years and 21 driving tests until she finally passed.

That is spooky says Noel, how DoND produces these types of games where things like that happen. Noel warns the Banker not to upset Mary again!

Mary asks if the Banker has Sellotape stuck to him, and Noel says that other sticking tape products are available

What a great way to break the pattern of a power 5 in every last box of the round says Noel.

Noel asks Balbina what she would do with the money, and she says she could visit her son in Australia and also do some skydiving! Noel recommends wearing a different top if she does the skydiving

Oh wow says Noel, you are now guaranteed £3,000.

Yes, yes, yes, shouts Noel as he dances up the walk of wealth, that was the perfect round at the perfect time. The Banker now gets very serious and talks about the beep beep that Balbina hears everyday at the checkout, and says he should hear the beep on his heart monitor right now!

Banker's offer:
£45,000

Balbina runs up to her daughters in the audience, and Noel asks if the Banker has brought Balbina's game to a halt now. Noel asks Balbina if she is a gambler in any way, and she says she is fairly safe. Balbina asks the pilgrims what she should do, less than half say deal. Balbina talks to her daughters and says that she will only be here once.

Balbina says

You are now guaranteed £15,000 says Noel, and there is still a possible dream finish.

Unbelievable says Noel, and he congratulates Balbina for giving it a go as a lot of people wouldn't have had the courage to play on.
