Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Lois' Deal or No Deal Game Report 28/09/10

Noel says he's going to pay a tribute to the contestants, and he says how contestants have been determined recently and have played the board.

Lois has box 4. Lois is from Liverpool, and explains that she once won a beauty competition in Tunisia by singing Baa Baa Black Sheep! Lois has her mum and boyfriend in the audience today, and he explains how he met her when he was working as a chef. We get to see a pic of Lois's aunt, and a pic of Lois when she won the beauty competition.

Noel says the 10p has been the first box in a lot of games lately.

Banker time
The banker talks about stereotypes, and then talks about how Lois stood next to Bharti on the wings, and when Noel stood with them, it was "Noel Scouse Bharti".

Lois says she's worried about saying the wrong thing when she answers the question!

Lois answers the phone and immediately starts giggling at the banker.

The banker says Martin had the £250k today, 1p yesterday and £250k the day before! He wonders if Martin finds it traumatic changing between the villain and the hero each day...

The banker says normally he'd halve the previous offer in this scenario but he's going to reduce it by 50%.

Banker time
Noel says this is a 1-box game now, in terms of the mega-money, but she still has some chunky sums of money left.

Banker's offer:

The banker says he'd genuinely take that offer. Lois's mum says "what will be, will be".

Lois says

Round 5
Lois says she's worried, and Marshall says he thinks she should have a speed-round. Paul has box 7 and he says he has high values when he has box 7, and Lois says she's scared of 7. The banker phones and confirms what Paul said.

The banker says he's impressed that Lois went ahead and opened box 7.

Banker's offer:

The others tell Lois to have a good long think about the offer. Her boyfriend says it's the biggest offer so far and is a really good offer for the board. Jim talks about the risk associated with going on and whether it's worth it.

The banker phones and says he'd have phoned at this point to say that if Lois leaves the £100k, the next offer would've been £32,000, and £2,000 if not.
