Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Paul's Deal or No Deal Game Report - 10/05/10 - Cops and Robbers Banker Birthday Specials

Q.C. Noel is in charge this week as they celebrate the Banker's birthday with a cops and robbers theme. One wing are dressed as cops and the other wing are dressed as robbers, with the the pilgrims in masks and hats as well. Noel reveals the twist at 5-box where the contestant can decide what they want to do, they can choose to play the police boxes and try to get an offer after every box in the final round, or choose to play the safes and try to win a holiday.

Paul dressed as a robber has box 7 today. We get to see Paul on the game board before and after his makeover as a robber. Paul has a good luck card made by his daughter, and we get to see a picture of both of his daughters.

Round 1
The Banker calls before the start of the round and asks if all the pilgrims will wish him a happy birthday. He says that it is his birthday week and if anyone irritates him this week they will be sent to the jail in the studio!

The Banker calls and says that was just like real prisons all over Britain with Liam and Paul kissing, and he then sends Liam to Jail for having the 1p!

Wow, wow, wow says Paul. Paul says that any winnings today are for his family.

Noel goes to Paul's daughter who says it is a great offer and that is a lot of money, and they have seen so many games recently go wrong. The Banker calls back and lowers the offer by £500 as Paul tries to increase the offer!

Noel says it is now COPS and ROBBERS, and Paul has to decide if he wants to play on in the final round one-box at a time by playing the COPS twist, or if he wants to try and win a holiday but then play on as normal by opening 3 boxes in the final round by playing the ROBBERS twist. Each twist has 2 choices which contains a WIN or a LOSE.

Paul decides to play the COPS twist to try and play on one-box at a time.

Noel tells the Banker that his birthday week hasn't started too well for him.

Paul goes to Craig who says this is a hard one but he would go on one more, he then looks at the £250,000 and cautions Paul about playing on.

Noel reminds Paul that if he plays on he will only have to open 1 box. The Banker calls back and says that if Paul finds the blue in the next box his offer will be over £30,000. Paul goes to Lee for some advice, and Lee tells him to ignore the Banker's future offers for the moment. The Banker calls back and apologises for distracting Paul by saying he could win over £30,000, and says the offer would be £40,000!
