Michael's Deal or No Deal Game Report 20/05/10

Noel says the introduction to this game is aimed at the cynics who don't believe the contestants get on with each other, and he talks about how this week they have had to go back to the hotel and talk about a 1p and 10p win and it was no surprise that Lisa ran when offered £14,000, although she could have had more.

Michael has box 22 today. Michael is a youth worker from London. Noel tells the story of how Michael and his partner met, and she is in the audience for support today. Michael hopes to win enough money today to get married, and Noel asks his partner if she would agree to that, and she does. We get to see Michael's family pics at the Sealife Center, and Noel asks how much they paid him for that promotion

Michael turns to his partner who says that is a lot of money, and he says this decision is up to her as she makes all the decisions! Michael says he knows what he is going to do if he plays on as he has the next numbers already picked out. Michael's partner joins him at the pound table, and Michael tells her he really feels he wants to play on. Michael goes to the wings for some advice and is told there is another round in the game. Michael's partner says she will support him whatever he decides and whatever happens. The Banker calls back and tries to help Michael with his decision, and if he takes either the £100,000 or the £50,000 out in the next round the offer will go down, but any other combinations and the offer goes up.

Banker's offer:
£8,000

Michael and his partner again talk over whether to deal or not. David chips in with some advice. The Banker calls back and says that the offer is only £7,750, and will only get to £8,000 if only his partner convinces him to deal and not anyone else.
