Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Lee's Deal or No Deal Game Report 04/05/10

Noel talks about how Mary got away with it yesterday after dealing with lots of big money still left on the board. He said it felt she'd gone far too soon but as it turned out, it was the perfect game.

Lee has box 10. Lee is a martial arts instructor and is an expert in kick-boxing. Lee is wearing an English champion trophy belt which he won recently! He talks about how he got into kick-boxing when he was 8, and his mum thinks he got into it as he was a victim of bullying at school. He now runs his own business teaching kick-boxing. He talks a bit about the running of the school, and Noel asks if his pupils kick the door down.

We get to see a pic of Lee doing kick-boxing and a pic of his 2 dogs. Lee has his future wife in the audience today.

Noel thinks he's sussed Lee's system but Lee says he hasn't!

Safina is wearing a big belt and Noel asks what she won it for.

Banker time
The banker says he's worried about Lee's kick-boxing abilities, and he'd like him to kick Noel in the head.

Banker's offer:

The banker says the offers will be very generous, particularly if Lee kicks Noel in the head.

Noel says he can't stand the whooping noises, and Lee says Andy G started them weeks ago and set a trend!!

The banker says martial arts is about control and discipline, and he's concerned about Lee's control and discipline.

Noel asks Lee's girlfriend if she'd be happy to deal here, and she says she doesn't know. The banker phones back and says the average cost of a UK wedding is £14,500...

The banker says he won't risk taking the mickey out of Lee!

Lee asks Craig again, who says he'd be devastated if Lee went on and hit the £250k, so it's up to Lee really. Michael says he thinks the banker is showing respect for Lee. Lee asks his girlfriend who is unsure. The banker phones back and says if Lee goes on and has an all-blue round, the offer would be about £26,000, and he talks about Mary's game yesterday.

Noel wonders if Lee will regret that.

Lee talks about his system and how he started with box 1, and the numbers of the following boxes depended on whether he revealed a red or a blue. Noel asks if alcohol was involved in the invention of the system!

Banker time
The banker promises to respect Lee's courage now, and Noel tells the banker to imagine he's in the boxing ring with Lee!

Banker's offer:

Lee asks Cookie, who says he's torn by that offer. He asks his girlfriend, who says there are only 2 above the offer and it's a nice offer.

Round 5 (proveout)
Noel says he wonders whether Lee's gone early or whether he's done a Mary.

Noel says it would've been all or nothing.

Lee says he'd have dealt there. The banker phones back and says that was very honest of Lee, and he's thinking of testing how convinced Lee is that he has a red on the table. He says that if Lee has an all-blue round now, he'll guarantee the Banker's Gamble will be offered.

Noel says this is fascinating as we don't know what we want to see in these boxes!!
