Abbie's Deal or No Deal Game Report 31/12/09 - Scrooge V Santa

A very smartly dressed Noel welcomes us to the final show of 2009, and he hopes the excesses of Christmas are passing us by and we are getting ready for a new year.

Abbie has box 2 today. Abbie is from Norfolk and is a customer advisor in financial services. Noel asks Abbie if he should call her princess Abbie as she is wearing a tiara today Abbie says she hasn't had a great year and would like to win a nice sum to kick off the new year. We get to see some of Abbie's family photos.

9 - £50,000 Harold

Banker time
Noel thinks the Banker will have a nibble at Abbie now. The Banker is thinking of new beginnings for the New Year, and might try and start the new year with a 22 year old wife!

Banker time
The Banker has a surprise for Abbie, and under the pound table is a small sealed red box. The Banker says that box has been in the desk since the start of the show and it contains a holiday, but it could possibly be to Mexico, or just a camping holiday!

Banker's offer:
£8,000 + contents of sealed box

Abbie says she thinks there is another round in the game.

Abbie says

Round 4
19 - £100 Courtney
17 - £20,000 Tina
12 - 50p Stephen

Banker time
The Banker says it is a finely balanced game, and asks Abbie to trust him now as he is not lying.

Banker's offer:
£10,000 + Mystery holiday.

Abbie says she has seen games where they have all gone wrong from here, and Jardi says that he thinks the offer was a little low really. Abbie goes to her mum who tells her to do what she feels. The Banker says he is going to tip the balance now, and tells her the holiday is an all-inclusive holiday to Mexico, and Abbie asks him to prove it, so he tells her to deal and he will prove it! Abbie says she really doesn't know what to do now, and the Banker calls and starts singing 'la chucha racha' to Abbie. Jardi tells Abbie that if he was playing he would play on.

Abbie says

The Banker calls back and says his offer was absolutely perfect, and he hopes Abbie likes camping!!!

Proveout round 5

Jardi just shrugs his shoulders
21 - £15,000 David
22 - £10,000 Vikki

Banker time
That is a very different scenario now says Noel.

Banker's offer would've been:

Proveout round 6
15 - £50 Haz
18 - £10 Shell
8 - £75,000 Glenda

Banker time with 1p and 10p remaining

Fantastic says Noel, that is the worst possible finish you can end up with.

Banker's offer would've been:

Noel opens Abbie's box 2 and reveals 10p

Lyn with box 5 contains the 1p

Abbie now opens her mystery box and reveals that she has also won a 2 week all-inclusive holiday to Mexico for 2.
