Deal or No Deal is enjoyed my millions of viewers daily, where the contestants battle with The Banker to try and win a jackpot of £250,000. Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

30/12/09 Sanjay's Deal or No Deal Game Report - Scrooge V Santa Special

Noel welcomes us to the last of the Santa vs Scrooge specials. Noel says the Santa vs Scrooge twist has been incredibly influential over the past week, and he runs through some of the games we've had, including how the banker lied to Pommy!

Sanjay has box 17.Sanjay says his dad's English and his mum's Indian, and she broke with tradition by marrying a white man. Sanjay's currently on a graduate programme in banking! We get to see some pics of his mum, dad and aunt, and also another pic of him when he went travelling around the world. He says he'd like to give some money to the people he met when he was travelling.

Santa vs Scrooge 2009 Gameplay:
If a player gets to 5-box, they can open a mince pie, a carrot or a bottle of sherry. There's 1 Scrooge and 2 Santas. If they reveal SANTA, they get an offer after every box and win a holiday for 2. If they find SCROOGE, then the banker looks in their box, their is no offer after every box but a SWAP at 2-box is guaranteed.

Round 1
For the final time, there's a gold envelope with a mystery gift. Sanjay can give it to one of the others if he finds one of the banker's power 5 in the opening round.
Sanjay has a few numbers he's saving to the end, and they're numbers he uses on the lottery.

Banker time
Sanjay dances around and screams with delight. Sanjay gives the gift to Abbie. She opens it and finds that she's won a £850 hybrid bicycle! Noel tells the banker what he did to Pommy was totally disgusting, and he takes Noel's comments as a compliment!

Noel says we haven't had an opening offer like that for a very long time. Sanjay says it's incredible. Noel talks about how Sanjay would like a new car.

Banker time
Sanjay says that's not too bad. Noel says it'd have been better if he'd kept the £250k. The banker says Sanjay is like a kids TV presenter and he says he hates them! Noel says he used to be one.

Santa vs Scrooge time

Noel asks why did he change his plan?! Sanjay tells people not to clap as that was terrible! Banker phones and says £10k is still there.

Santa vs Scrooge 2009 Gameplay:

Now we find out what holiday Sanjay has won. He's won a holiday for 2 for a week in Kos, Greece. Noel says Sanjay can have the carrots from the Santa vs Scrooge table so he can see in the dark.
