Franny's Deal or No Deal Game Report 26/12/09 Scrooge V Santa Special
Noel introduces the show from his sleigh again, and says he doesn't go down chimneys due to 'elf and safety'.
Noel says the number 2 was dominant yesterday, as the banker gave Hollie a swap-only offer at 2-box, for only the 2nd time ever, and she won 1p from box 2.
Franny has box 17. Franny's real name is Francis, and he's from Liverpool. He's a porter messenger in the civil service, and is known as the entertainments officer because he gets up to a lot of malarky. He tells a story about how he once accientally nailed someone's boots to the floor! We get to see some pics of Franny's parents, and another pic of him and his wife on their wedding day. He also shows some pics of his step-daughters.
Santa vs Scrooge 2009 Gameplay:
If a player gets to 5-box, they can open a mince pie, a carrot or a bottle of sherry. There's 1 Scrooge and 2 Santas. If they reveal SANTA, they get an offer after every box and win a holiday for 2. If they find SCROOGE, then the banker looks in their box, their is no offer after every box but a SWAP at 2-box is guaranteed.
Round 1
Once again, there's a gold envelope with a mystery gift, which Franny can give to one of the other contestants if he finds one of the banker's power 5 in the opening round.
Franny says he has 3 systems - Israel's system, Freddie's system and his own system!!! Therefore he has no system!

Banker time
Franny decides to give the mystery gift to Gaz. Gaz opens the envelope and reveals he's won an aerobatic flying lesson experiencing loop-the-loop.
Franny explains that he wants some money for a roof over his head! They're only renting at the moment and would like to buy the house outright.
Banker's offer:
£5,000 + a violin in case Franny tells that story again!
Franny asks what type of violin it is! Noel says that was on the mean side.

Stephen says you need courage and a good board to win the £250,000, and Franny has both of those. Franny says it's a great offer... the banker phones and says someone is looking down on Franny, and they can see him as he has no roof over his head! Franny says the banker's nasty!!

Noel says this game is not over. The banker phones and says he loved seeing Franny's disappointment at that round.

Noel says that's a clever offer, and Franny says the money would sort out his housing issues. Sanjay says he thinks Franny will be lucky. The others offer Franny some advice, and Franny says he's not sure what boxes he'd choose now.

The game is not over yet... the banker phones. Noel passes on the banker's message. He says Franny now has the opportunity to take part in a banker's party game. He could double his winnings. A chimney appears on set with a bucket full of snowballs!
Banker's offer:
BANKER'S CHRISTMAS GAMBLE
If Franny says NO DEAL, he keeps £15,000. If he says DEAL, Franny will throw 3 snowballs at the chimney. If he gets one in the chimney, then his winnings double to £30,000. If he misses all 3, then the winnings halve to £7,500.
The banker phones back and increases the number of balls to 4!

Round 6 (proveout) - part 4 - Banker's Christmas Gamble
We now get to find out what would've happened.
Franny throws the first snowball, and he gets it in! Franny's winnings would've doubled to £30,000, but he said NO DEAL to the Gamble, so his winnings remain at £15,000.
Noel says we respect the fact that Franny couldn't risk the chance to drop back down to £7,500. Noel reveals that Franny has also won a holiday for 2 to Egypt for 1 week from his holiday box he got earlier.
