Rich's Deal or No Deal Game Report 06/02/12

Rich has box 4. Rich is head keeper at a safari park. Rich has his best mate in the audience for support today. Noel is suprised that Rich doesn't have a picture of his daughter with him today who is apparently his life, but instead has a picture of himself at work!

Round 1
Rich has a system so he doesn't get distracted later in the game, he also has a strategy to hopefully get his offers up later.
18 - £250 Brian
3 - £750 Candice
20 - £50 Casey
16 - £20,000 Gabbie
21 - 10p Mathew

Banker time
That is a great opening round says Noel. The Banker says he has been looking to Rich's game, and normally playing a mathematician is quite easy as you just offer above the odds and they'll deal, but he thinks the only way to get Rich is to get him early.

Banker's offer:
£20,000

Rich says that there has always been a cheeky part of him that thought if he had a high enough opening offer he would deal just to be the first to do it, but he never imagined he would get this sort of opening offer.

Rich says
NO DEAL

Round 2
1 - £75,000 Mike
19 - 1p Nick
2 - £1 Laura

Banker time
Oh my word says Noel.

Banker's offer:
£25,000

Rich says he loves his job, but it doesn't pay very well, and he has always been able to carry on with his job as he has never really felt the need to make big investments in things, but he would now like to look to the future for his daughter. Rich's friend says it is a fantastic offer, but he still has an amazing board. Rich says that he distracted himself there a bit with talk about his daughter.

Rich says
NO DEAL

Round 3
Rich says that he really loves his daughter and she will learn through time that money doesn't buy you love, and you make your own luck
22 - £35,000 Newbie Kath
10 - £5,000 Cynthia
8 - £10,000 Jim

Banker time
The Banker says that he knew he would be in more trouble the longer Rich was still in the game.

Banker's offer:
£30,000

Rich says that is just huge, and is a huge offer for that board. Noel talks about people who have gone at the 3rd offer, and it is a fact they went too soon. The Banker calls and tells Noel that those who went early didn't have the sort of offer that Rich is now looking at. He thinks Rich would be saying that if he played on he would likely take out 2 reds and a blue, so he has to think which 2 reds he would take out.

Rich says
NO DEAL

Round 4
12 - £3,000 Jess
7 - £100 Alex
14 - £10 Imani

Banker time
Rich will be so happy to be so wrong about 2 reds and a blue now says Noel. The Banker says that he doesn't think he can buy Rich, but he is going to give it a good go.

Banker's offer:
£45,000

Rich says that his MOT is due next month and it has been a big worry for him, and £500 would ease that, so £45,000 doesn't register at the moment.

Rich says
NO DEAL

Round 5
15 - £1,000 Jackie
5 - £15,000 Gill
One blue now and the next offer will be awesome says Noel
17 - £500 Marios

Banker time
The Banker is going for the final trump card now and an above average offer, and the average is £80,000 at the moment.

Banker's offer:
£85,000

£85,000 screams one simple message from the Banker, and that is that he is terrified says Noel.

Rich says
NO DEAL

Round 6
This is an extraordinary moment says Noel
11 - 50p Alma
Noel tells Rich to not celebrate too soon.
13 - £100,000 Stephen
It's still there says Noel.
9 - £5 Sidney (opened by Stephen)

Banker time with £50,000 and £250,000 remaining

Rich runs around the studio and hugs everyone. The Banker calls and Rich asks if he can answer the phone, and Noel allows him, he tells the Banker that he gets a bad rap from everyone but he does get everyone's respect. Rich hangs up but then can't remember the offer, so Noel gets the phone for him.

Banker's offer:
£160,000

What a game says Noel. Rich explains his strategy, and says he hasn't got a very mathematical mind, but he's worked out that over the shows time only 4 people have won the jackpot because they haven't dealt, and at the start of the game everyone has a 1 in 22 chance of winning it, and now he has even better odds than that, as it is now 1 in 2.

Rich says
NO DEAL

Noel tells Rich that he is now allowed the chance to swap his box.

Rich says
NO SWAP

Noel opens Rich's box 4 and reveals £50,000

It wasn't mean't to be says Noel, and Rich says he thinks he made a little mistake there, but the £50,000 will help with that.

Box 6 with Gregg contains the £250,000

Rich says that will be a deposit on a house now, and a future for his little girl.
