Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Casey's Deal or No Deal Game Report 19/02/12 - Love Week Specials

Casey's game today. Noel says this is the final love extravaganza, and he talks again about the banker's love of the 1980s.

80s Love Mix twist:
The player gives the love necklace to someone on the wings. When that person's box is chosen in live play, they guess the contents of their box, and if they're right, they win a holiday. The player also gets an immediate offer from the banker.

Casey has box 11. Casey works in a bank, but wants to go to university and get a job in social work. Casey shows a photo of her with her dad, and her parents are in the audience today. Her boyfriend is also in the audience, and Noel says he has a theory about the game.

Round 1
Casey chooses to give the love necklace to Nick.
5 - Chris - £1
Noel says Imani is still ill, and Damien will open her box.
3 - Keith - £250
2 - Imani (opened by Damien) - £15,000
18 - Sidney - 1p
10 - James - £10

Banker time
The banker thanks James for wearing that silly moustache all week, and Noel says it's his real moustache.

Banker's offer:
£13,500

Casey's boyfriend says he thinks the box numbers are linked to the values they contained, and the banker rings and says Casey can do better!

Casey says

Round 2
Noel talks about Casey's boyfriend's strategy, and he says he's an idiot. Casey chooses box 1, and Noel says on her boyfriend's basis, this box will have either £100, £1,000 or £100,000.

The banker rings and says Casey can't do any better!

Banker time
The banker says he has three problems - the board, Casey's determination and her boyfriend.

Casey's dad says the banker is trying to lead her into a path of thinking it'll all go wrong, and she came with nothing. The banker rings and says she did come with something - the hope that she can have a future without her dad! Gabbie says there's still big money left, and Zoe says that's half of her uni fees.

15 - newbie Kingsley - £20,000
Casey considers using the love necklace now. David says he'd use it now, and Sidney says he'd leave it. Her boyfriend says he'd use it now, and the banker rings and agrees with him.
14 - Donna - £10,000

Banker time
Noel says this offer is pitched perfectly.

Banker's offer:
£17,000

Gabbie says Casey should think about it, but she still has the love necklace to use. Casey starts crying and says it's a lot of money. Casey's granddad says she can either deal or go on and use the love necklace straight away, and he then says he was in the audience for the first ever DoND! The banker rings and says he's only here today because the restraining order didn't last long enough.

Round 5
Casey goes for Nick and the love necklace now. Nick guesses he has 50p in his box.
4 - Nick - £1,000
Nick doesn't win the holiday. Casey gets an offer now.

Banker time
The banker says he's detected that Casey has been outside her comfort zone for a while, as she's not a gambler.

Banker's offer:
£21,000

Casey's grandad says she should take it, as she always said she'd deal if she got to £20k. Noel says he kind of agrees with him, but he points out Casey could still win £250k.

Round 5 - continued - proveout
Noel says this could be the perfect end to Love Week.

The banker says he really loves the 1980s!

The banker rings and says he'd have phoned now, to say if this is blue, the offer would be £66,000.

Noel opens Casey's box 11 and reveals £500

Box 21 with Jess contains the £50

Casey says that offer will allow her to go to uni and she can help her parents.
