Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Mike's Deal or No Deal Game Report 20/02/12

Mike has box 18. Mike is from Dorset and is the retired manager of a furniture chain. He says he was involved with air traffic control at fighter command for a while, and helped to ensure the safety of the UK. We get to see a photo of Mike in a hot tub, and he says he wants to get money to get a hot tub in his garden! Mike's partner Sally is in the audience today.

Round 1
Mike says he doesn't want any negativity from anyone, and he wants people to shout "Come on Mike"!

Mike goes for Alma, and Noel tells her to be more positive!
8 - Alma - £3,000

Banker time
Mike goes to choose a 6th box and Noel stops him! The banker says Noel is still in 80s costume, and he says he thinks Mike's lift doesn't go all the way to the top.

Mike says he likes steak and could buy a whole cow for about £500! The banker rings and says he's filling out his emigration papers.

Noel says if Mike wins the 1p, he'll put it on eBay and make £250,000!

Noel opens Donna's box 5 and Mike wins £1,000

Noel says Mike made the right decisions in the end, and Mike says he's feeling great.

Mike goes and gets a small red box from his position on the wings, and it has a ring inside. He proposes to his partner Sally and she says YES.

The banker rings and says he was about to ring and offer £1,000 if she said no! He sends out some red roses to them both, and a week's cruise for two to the Red Sea.

Noel asks Sally whether she'll marry Mike...
