Greg's Deal or No Deal Game Report 07/02/12

Greg has box 1 today. Greg is from Southampton and works in sales for a telephone company. We get to see a picture of Greg's 3 daughters and another of Greg with his wife on their wedding day, he has his wife in the audience for support today.

Round 1
Greg says he has a bit of a strategy, and will keep boxes 7,4, and 2 to the end.
22 - £50 Nick
12 - 50p Alex
Greg thinks about picking box 13, but then thinks that he should keep it as 7+4+2 = 13. That's spooky says Noel.
19 - £5 Brian
3 - £10 Jim
Noel says it doesn't happen often, but he is starting to feel sorry for the Banker.
9 - £75,000 Kath

Banker time
That will make the Banker feel a little better says Noel. The Banker says he is punch drunk from yesterday, and the game is giving him a hard time at the moment.

Banker's offer:

Greg's wife says she would deal the first offer.

Greg says

Noel says that Greg is really romantic, and one year bought his wife a vacuum cleaner for Christmas Greg says it was a good present as she still uses it.

Round 2
13 - £50,000 Marios
Greg chooses Cynthia next, but Noel shouts out as he realises it is box 2! The Banker calls and tells Greg you should never change your mind once you've picked a box, and if he changes now the next box will be £250,000.
8 - 1p Jess
11 - £250 Gill

Banker time
Noel asks the Banker what happened to his prediction, and the Banker says he doesn't remember saying anything, or even phoning.

Banker's offer:

That is a fantastic offer, and I could never save that sort of money says Greg. He says he does feel good about today though.

Greg says

Round 3
15 - £20,000 Laura
20 - £35,000 Jackie
This next one has to be a blue says Noel
5 - £5,000 Casey

Banker time
That was fine says Noel. He tells the Banker he was wrong again, and has clearly lost his touch.

Banker's offer:

Greg says he has a really good feeling about his box, and has had the £250,000 about 4 times while on the wings. Greg talks about wanting a bigger house. Greg talks about Rich's game yesterday where he reached a point where he felt he had the £250,000 in his box, and then couldn't look at Rich.

Greg says

Round 4
18 - £500 Alma
6 - £15,000 Imani
14 - 10p Mathew

Banker time
That is exactly the one you wanted says Noel. The Banker says he can't believe it, and the bad luck goes on for him.

Banker's offer:

Noel says the Banker said he can't believe he is having to offer this amount on such a precarious board. Greg talks about how amazing the numbers 7,4, and 2 are cropping up for him lately. Greg's wife says that Greg said he would deal anything over £20,000, then wonders if she should have said that. The Banker calls and says that Gregg shouldn't go back on his word. Greg says he thinks there is still another round in his game, and he just feels so good about his box. The Banker calls again and says this is tricky for Greg as he has seen a lot of games where the gamble has paid off, but he wouldn't gamble £20,000 on that board and the luck has got to change at some point.

Greg says

Round 5 - Proveout
21 - £1 Gabbie
No, would have been the perfect start says Noel
16 - £10,000 Newbie Chris
No, no, no says Noel.
17 - £1,000 Mike

Banker time
Oh no, have you walked away from true life-changing money asks Noel. The Banker says he is thrilled he is not paying out big money right now.

Banker's offer would've been:

Round 6 - Proveout round
10 - £100 Sydney (opened by Stephen)
It's happened again says Noel.
7 - £250,000 Candice
Oh my word says Noel, and there is great relief from Greg
4 - £3,000 Stephen

Banker time with £750 and £100,000 remaining

The Banker says that these are amazing times.

Banker's offer would've been:

Noel opens Greg's box 1 and reveals £100,000

Box 2 with Cynthia contains the £750

What is going on with this place at the moment asks Noel. Greg says he had a feeling about his box.
