Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Renee's Deal or No Deal Game Report 23/01/12

Renee has box 18 today. Renee is an account manager for a media company. We get to see a picture of Renee's nan who watches the show everyday, she talks about her granddad who she says was a gambler, so we will see if any of that has rubbed off on her. Renee has her mum in the audience for support today.

Round 1
Renee doesn't have a system, but decides to take out all the boxes that have a nasty reputation.

Wow, that is the finest way to start the game says Noel.

Brian is ill today, so Wendy will open his box for him. Renee thinks she might pick the boxes that mean something to her next, as it gets rid of the dilemma at the end of the game

Banker time
The Banker says that Renee is gorgeous, and then asks if we have seen the show Allo Allo, and says we have to think of Renee as Evette for the rest of the game.

The Banker says that he could watch Renee pick boxes all day.

Banker time
We are getting excited and feeling good about this now says Noel. The Banker says that the lawyers were twitching about the use of the B word just now, and they were trying to shut the show down and had a good crack at it!

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Renee says she would like to buy a barge for her mum. Renee says she had a dream about her game once and in it she had box 18, which reminds her of Snowy's game.

Renee says

This is a killer round says Noel.

Banker time
The Banker says that Renee could be one of those rare players who go away with a blue without making a bad decision in her game.

Banker's offer:

Renee goes to Rich, and he thinks there is another round in the game, but Renee just had bad luck in the last round.

Renee says

The Banker calls before the start of the round and says that since Renee took out the £75,000 he has seen a small tear develop in her eyes, and he expects to see a stream of them after these next 3 boxes.

Banker time
That is the round we wanted says Noel. The Banker says we didn't want those tears of joy, and Renee has left herself with a very interesting situation.

Banker's offer:

Renee goes to Alex who thinks Renee has got a big amount in her box and he would go on. Renee's mum thinks she should go with what she wants, as she is only here once.

Nobody liked that one says Noel.

Banker time with £10 and £50,000 remaining

So far you haven't made a mistake says Noel, but the Banker will make this very difficult for you now.

Banker's offer:
£11,000

Renee turns to her mum, and says that if she reveals the £10 it is a lot of money to lose. Renee turns to Rich, and he says that the £11,000 is a lot to lose, but she has a lot more to gain by playing on, and if it was him he would take the gamble. The Banker calls and tells Renee that she has the classic DoND dilemma, and then tells her to take the £11,000.

Noel opens Renee's box 18 and reveals £50,000

Box 10 with Robbie contains the £10

What makes that even more painful is that for a moment it looked like Renee was going to go for it says Noel.
