Michael's Deal or No Deal Game Report 09/03/10

Noel says there are good and bad times to play the banker and he says this is a good time as he's currently in a creative mood, which was underlined in Kristi's game yesterday!

Michael has box 5. Michael is a welder from Birmingham. He says he's called the Deck Chair as he's so laid back! We get to see a pic of him and his wife with their children. Michael also shows a pic of his dad and brother when they were in Jamaica. He gets quite emotional as he talks about how they came to England, and then he tells the story of how he proposed to his wife.

Michael's leaving box 3 to the end. Newbie Kath first, and she explains that she's an ex-nun!

Noel orchestrates an elaborate 1p kiss between Michael and Brad... Barbara now, and she explains that she broke her toe last night because she walked into a piece of wood!

The banker says he's impressed with the way Michael proposed, as he coughed a ring out of his mouth!

Noel says we've seen worse boards and this isn't over yet. The banker says it's getting hotter in his office! He talks about the posh underpants he's wearing and he says that's all he's wearing.

The banker says if the luck is missing there's not a lot that can be done.

Huddy says he shouldn't chase the £20,000 but if he finds 3 blues now, the offer should at least cover the holiday to Egypt.

Michael confirms he's leaving box 3 to the end. The banker phones back and promises that if he has an all-blue round, the offer will be at least £5,500.

The banker says he wants a couple of minutes to think about the offer so he can enjoy this moment.

Michael gets a bit emotional so his friend Glen comes down from the audience to support him.

Noel says this has been relentlessly unlucky and there was nothing for Michael. The banker phones back and says he wants one final piece of fun with him. The banker is offering a gamble. The gamble is: if the box contains £50, he'll increase the winnings to £500 but if it's 50p, Michael will go home with nothing.

Noel swaps Michael's box 5 for Huddy's box 3... If this is £50, Michael's winnings will become £500. If this is 50p, Michael will win NOTHING!!!

Michael wins £500

Box 5 - now with Huddy - contains the 50p and completes the game.

Noel says there's a consolation in that Michael only ever brought 50p to the table and has got £500 out of it.
