John's Deal or No Deal Game Report 25/03/10
What a week of terrible games says Noel, and there seems to be very bad luck in the Dream Factory at the moment. He hopes there will be success today.
John has box 7 today. John is from Liverpool and works for a glass company, and Noel asks him a little about his job. Noel runs through some of John's nicknames at work, and John describes himself as pleasantly plump. We get to see some of John's family pictures, and Noel says that there is a purpose to John being on the show and it relates to his daughter's eyesight, where she has had an operation and they are not sure at the moment if she will need another operation in the future.
Round 1
John is keeping box 5 to the end as it is his daughter's birthday. Frank first and he says he feels good today as he looks younger than the audience, and Noel asks him his age and he is 81
8 - 1p Frank
2 - £50 Andy
18 - £10,000 Ramesh
3 - £10 Julie
11 - £5,000 Raff
Banker time
That is a wonderful round after the rounds we have had this week says Noel. The Banker says that was an amazing opening round compared to the others this week. The Banker likes Frank's style and how he bonds with people.
Banker's offer:
£11,500
John says
NO DEAL
Round 2
10 - £250,000 Nicola
There are big groans for that box.
15 - £20,000 Monique
21 - £50,000 Liz
Banker time
What a round says Noel, and the offer will now be sliced and diced.
Banker's offer:
£2,500
John says
NO DEAL
Round 3
Noel introduces John's friend Kenny who is in the audience for support.
19 - £75,000 Adam
Oh, no, no, no goes Noel
17 - £5 Spiro
13 - £750 Beryl
Banker time
The Banker says he has seen Beryl in the gym working out which explains her 'freestyle' box opening. The Banker talks about the recent 3rd round deals that have saved him a lot of money recently
Banker's offer:
£6,500
John says there is a figure on the board that he is still aiming at, and while it is there he will play on.
John says
NO DEAL
Round 4
1 - £1,000 Caine
14 - 50p Sonia
16 - £1 Tom
Banker time
That's good, that is the round you needed says Noel. The Banker says it was an improved round, but it is still a precarious board. He is not bothered by the fact that John said he is prepared to go all the way as this board could turn in a heartbeat.
Banker's offer:
£13,000
That is a very clever offer says John. John gets some advice from the wings. Noel talks about how the game could go horribly wrong, but you also only play this game once.
John says
NO DEAL
Round 5
12 - £35,000 Ciara
20 - £100,000 Stacie
OH NO! Shouts Noel
22 - £3,000 Kath
Banker time
What a round says Noel, from a precarious board to a game where it looks like there is a blue on the table.
Banker's offer:
£1,300
John says
NO DEAL
Round 6
6 - £500 Glen
9 - £250 Chris
4 - 10p Newbie Davinia
Banker time with £100 and £15,000 remaining
Wow you pulled it off and that was a great result says Noel. The Banker says there is no point in offering any money if John is playing to the end regardless and he might just as well offer the SWAP
Banker's offer:
SWAP
John says
SWAP
Noel swaps John's box 7 for box 5.
Noel opens John's new box 5 and reveals £15,000
Brenda with box 7 contains the £100
That is officially a Banker Spanking says Noel, and that game came out of nowhere.
