Here at donduk you will find full daily reports of each show, as well Deal or No Deal news and specials. Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Laura's Deal or No Deal Game Report 21/07/10 - Desert Island Deal

Shipwrecked Noel is still hoping to be rescued, but is enjoying the island and keeping up the moral. He runs through Harry's game where he managed to win a holiday via the 3 bottles.

Laura has box 9 today. Laura is a travel agent. Laura talks about how she had cancer 5 years ago and fought through it, but later found she was misdiagnosed as to where the cancer was and now still has the cancer that won't go away and now she lives with it, she explains how she plans to carry on for years and years and talks about how some people manage to live relatively normal lives with cancer. We get to see some of Laura's family photos. Laura introduces her father-in-law who is in the audience today with a fish on his head

Round 1
The Banker calls and says so far this week he has offered a holiday in the opening round for finding the 1p, but today he isn't! Today if Laura finds the 10p she will win a holiday

Banker time
I like that as an opening says Noel, but still no holiday has been won in the opening round. The Banker says he is amazed by Laura's story and the struggle she has had in the last 5 years, but he is a business man.

Banker's offer:

There are boos for that offer and Noel thinks a storm is brewing in the studio

That was good timing to produce that says Noel. The Banker talks about hitting the £50,000 but also says the 1p saved her.

Banker's offer:

If Laura deals and finds the TREASURE ISLAND the offer will be doubled to £10,000

Laura says

That was right on the edge of OK says Noel.

Banker's offer:

That is huge says Laura. Her father-in-law says that is a great offer, but there are still some big numbers in play. Laura goes to the wings for advice, Dai says if it was him he would give it another go...

That is looking pretty good says Noel, and asks Laura for her smile back. The Banker says he wants to save himself some money

Banker's offer:
£12,000 + 1 Bottle

If Laura finds TREASURE ISLAND the offer will double to £24,000

The pilgrims all groan at that offer. The Banker calls back and says he didn't like that reaction.

Banker's offer:
£12,000 + 2 Bottles

Noel confirms that the Banker will double the amount to £24,000 if Laura finds TREASURE ISLAND. Laura says she doesn't want to go home with nothing and this is really difficult now. He father-in-law says the £24,000 is a lot of money if she can find the right bottle. Danny talks about a few games that he has seen crash from this situation when a player has gone on.

Laura says

Noel says we will open the bottles at the end of the game to find out what Laura goes home with.

Round 5 - Proveout round

That would have almost been a perfect start says Noel

Oh no, says Noel. The Banker calls and says he would have called here and said the next offer would be £45,000 if the next box is blue.

How about that for a 5-box says Noel. The Banker says that is one of the strongest 5-boxes he has seen.

Phew, phew, phew says Noel.

The Banker says he is very nervous now as he thinks Laura's luck has changed.

Noel opens Laura's box 9 and reveals £1,000

James with box 5 contains the £20,000

Noel goes over the the island and the bottles. Laura gets to choose 2 bottles.

Laura chooses BLUE and RED

Noel puts on his safety glasses and jacket

Noel smashes the RED bottle and reveals DESERT ISLAND

Noel smashes the BLUE bottles and reveals TREASURE ISLAND

Laura's £12,000 deal is now doubled and she goes home with £24,000

Laura says she is over the moon with that and this has been one of the best times of her life.
