Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Dennis' Deal or No Deal Game Report 16/07/10

Noel says he's delighted to say it's back! He's talking about the timing in the game, and talks about how Ovie displayed perfect timing and got a banker spanking yesterday.

Dennis has box 17. Dennis is an odd-job man, and he explains that he has metal knees following a knee operation! Noel asks what it's like at airport security, and Dennis says his hernia belt was more of a problem! We get to see a pic of Dennis dressed up as Superman and he has a velvet curtain for a cape. He also shows a pic of the motor-caravan that he travelled around Europe in with his wife. Noel tells a story about how Dennis's motorhome was under a tree and Dennis climbed up a ladder to cut the tree back and he fell off! Dennis reveals that the ladder was actually a present for his wife, and he also bought a cordless drill for her, and he starts talking to Noel about cordless drills

The banker says Dennis is what young people would describe as a "ledge" and Dennis asks if that's a ledge that you stand on. Noel explains is stands for "legend".

Balbina now, and Noel gets her to tell us about herself as she didn't get a chance when she was newbie yesterday. She explains she used to live in Spain but moved to the UK because of her ex-husband.

Noel says Dennis needs some money as his villa, speed boat and helicopter need maintenance.

Banker time
The banker says he'd like to go 'mini dipping' with Dennis, and Dennis says he went skinny dipping in the shower with his wife last night.

Dennis says

Banker time
The banker says "oh dear" as that was a good round for Dennis. He talks about how Dennis could end up skinny dipping in a really posh shower!

Dennis asks if the loofa is included with this offer.

Dennis says

Everyone is shocked by that and Noel looks perplexed! Noel asks those who think Dennis made a mistake to put their hand up, and most people do so. Someone on the wings shouts out that it's Dennis's game!

Noel points at the board and says Dennis's deal stunned him and shocked everyone. Noel says as we went to the break, Dennis said something. They show us a video of what happened, and Dennis says he meant to say NO DEAL. Noel asks Dennis and he confirms he meant to say NO DEAL!

The banker phones back and says he's willing to put this to the vote, and the audience and pilgrims can decide if Dennis should be given the chance to answer the question again, and almost everyone put their hands up.

We now go back into live play!!! Noel says everyone knows that was genuine as they had a video record of Dennis saying he'd made a mistake with what he said.

The banker phones back and does a really evil laugh down the phone, and says Dennis has been a victim of the most moronic pilgrims ever. He has a special offer for Dennis. Noel says this has never happened before!

Banker's offer:

Dennis is being offered the SWAP. If Noel opens £15,000, Dennis will win the £15,000; if not, then he'll still keep the £7,500.

Dennis says

Dennis has £15,000 in his box 17

Dennis wins £15,000

Box 6 with Dai contains the £100

Noel says this has been absolutely extraordinary, and Dennis says he feels lucky and over the moon.
