Dave's Deal or No Deal Game Report 05/07/10

Noel welcomes us to the start of a new week, and talks about a classic game yesterday, but it wasn't because of the outcome it was because of a lesson, and the it showed how you play the Banker is important as he had an offer reduced by trying to play the Banker.

Dave has box 9 today. Dave is a police officer in the armed response unit, and tells the tale of how he consumed the whole menu at a fast food chain once in a challenge with a work-mate! We get to see a picture of Dave's son and another of his fiancee who is in the audience for support today. Dave has a couple of worry dolls to help him with luck today.

Dave has a system that is a system within a system...

Round 1
Noel goes over to Ovie and highlights his mistake in Rob's game where he got all excited when he revealed £3,000!
2 - 1p Dai
Keeley next and Noel asks her if it is exciting to be in Bristol rather than Essex!
20 - £10,000 Keeley
7 - 10p Newbie Linda
3 - £100 Laura
5 - £3,000 Emma

Banker time
That's a good opening round says Noel. The Banker thanks Ovie for cheering the £3,000 yesterday in Rob's game!

Dave says

Round 2

6 - £500 Mini
10 - £250,000 Paul

Banker time
Noel tells Paul he did the same to Rob yesterday! The Banker says he is looking to promote Paul for his recent work!

Banker's offer:

Dave's fiancee says it is a good offer, and they are getting married later in the year, and Noel tells her that the Banker always says an average wedding costs £15,000.

Dave says

Round 3
1 - £10 Maria
12 - £750 Darren
19 - £5,000 Carly

Banker time
The Banker talks about the £15,000 as the cost of an average wedding and says he found it out from the wedding magazines he gets!

Banker's offer:

Dave's fiancee points out the big block of reds he still has. Dave gets advice from the wings.

Dave says

Round 4
Dave says that is one half of the system over, and is based on northerner's and southerner's
11 - £250 Harry
8 - £100,000 Hayley
13 - £20,000 Kevin

Banker time
The Banker says it is a very unusual board and this is the kind of game where the offers almost certainly won't remain the same for the rest of the game.

Banker's offer:

Darren says that this could go either way now, and Dave thinks he would be very unlucky to take out his top 3 amounts now. Dave's fiancee thinks he more likely to take out some of blues if he plays on.

Dave says

Round 5
16 - £15,000 Ovie
That box didn't really tell us anything says Noel.
22 - £50,000 Dennis
4 - £35,000 Yvonne

Banker time
That was ghastly and totally the Banker's round says Noel.

Banker's offer:

Dave goes to Darren who talks about Rob's game and tells him not to lose sight of the money and he could just end up playing all the way to the if the next round goes against him. Dave thanks everyone for their advice.

Dave says

Round 6
21 - £5 Danny
17 - £75,000 Jez
14 - 50p Christina

Banker time with £1 and £1,000 remaining

You gave it your best shot says Noel.

Banker's offer:

Dave says he doesn't want to go home with £1

Dave says

Noel opens Dave's box 9 and reveals £1,000

Box 15 with Imaini contains the £1

That is amazing that Rob had the same outcome yesterday says Noel.
