Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Stephens' Deal or No Deal Game Report 22/03/11

Stephen has box 12 today.

Stephen is a teacher, but now not a teacher as he is unemployed. Stephen was teaching away from home, but missed home, so left his job to back back home with all his friends and family. We get to see some of Stephen's family photos, one is of him and his brother when they were younger visiting father christmas. Stephen also has a piece of fabric which he reveals are a piece of his lucky pants!

Round 1

Newbie Hugo next, and Noel says he has time travelled and is actually a Victorian weight lifter!

Stephen says that takes the pressure off a little by getting a big one out the way early

Banker time
The Banker asks which part of the lucky pants the fabric is from, and Stephen says it is the waitband.

Banker's offer:
£7,000

Stephen says that his brother has bet him he won't be the first person to deal the first offer, so he is about to lose £5 to him.

Stephen says

Noel says that Stephen is a gambler, but also scared of inflated balloons!

Vera next, and Noel says he has looked in her file and found a bit where it said she would be happy to just win enough to pay next years heating bill, and he really liked that comment.

Banker time
The Banker asks Vera about 'Dippy' and she tells him it is a penguin that emails her from the Isle of Wight. The Banker then says that Stephen's next offer is available in the special room and he will have to go there to get answer the phone. When Stephen gets there the room is full of inflated balloons. The Banker asks Stephen to jump on the balloons

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Stephen says that is a lot of money, and he really needs money at the moment with no job.

The Banker says this is a bit like yesterday.

Stephen reveals that when he leaves today the new daddy of the the group will be Jack

That was another ghastly round says Noel.

Stephen goes for a chat with some people, and he asks if Linda is in the audience as she has been there for all of his shows, and Noel says that she has been there for nearly every show produced. Noel gives Stephen the microphone so he can go and have a chat with Linda

Banker time
That round was a little painful says Noel. The Banker says that round went a little to Stephen

Banker's offer:
£1,700

Stephen goes to Paul for advice, and he tells Stephen that he just has to avoid that £15,000 it is as simple as that. The Banker calls and asks to speak to Stephen, he tells him that because he did the balloon thing he will let Stephen play the next round 1-box at a time...

That is a clever offer says Noel, and Stephen's luck has changed, but could it change back the other way. Stephen goes to the pilgrims to see if he shoudl deal, and it is about 50/50.

Stephen says

Round 6 - Box 3

9 - £3,000 Jack

Banker time with £250 and £15,000 remaining

That is going to guarantee a difficult decision says Noel, and Stephen says it won't. The Banker says that was an interesting reaction to the £3,000 going.

Banker's offer:
£4,500

Noel says you have to look at the board and what just went to see why the Banker offered that, and he is not going to give away a huge sum when Stephen has just taken out a significant sum.

Stephen says
NO DEAL

The Banker calls and says that he always thought Stephen would be trouble. He then offers the SWAP

Stephen says

Noel opens Stephen's box 12 and reveals £250

Box 7 with Sam contains the £15,000

Stephen says he just had to go for it as he had some dreams.
