Barbara's Deal or No Deal Game Report 07/03/11

Barbara has box 12 today.

Barbara is a retired shoe shop worker and Noel asks her about her relationship with her husband, and they have been married for over 50 years. She talks about how they met at a ballroom dance, where she was originally interested in her husband's brother, but ended up dancing with her now husband, and has been with him ever since. We get to see some of Barbara's family photos, and one is of Barbara's birthday last year where she had a Deal or No Deal cake

Barbara doesn't have a system, but does have some numbers she has written down, and then gets a piece of paper out of her bra! Noel asks if we should start with the 2 biggest ones first!!

The Banker says Barbara has made it difficult to judge the offer now, and Noel asks her if she can guess what the offer will be. Barbara think it will be £5,000

Banker's offer:
£4,000

Barbara says that won't get the kitchen she wants, as she would like to extend it as well, and would like a professional person to do it rather than her husband. She also wants to help out her family.

Barbara says
NO DEAL

Round 4
8 - £5,000 Aisha
5 - £250 Andre

Banker time
The Banker says that Barbara could now go on and have a very unlucky round and take out all her remaining reds in a single round.

Banker's offer:
£7,000

Barbara says her husband is no help here, so goes to Ellen for some advice, and she says she would have a go here. Debbie asks if Barbara is willing to take a risk, as if she hits the blues now her offer will go up. Chris tells her if she plays on she should be prepared to go all the way, as her next offer probably won't go up too much. The Banker calls and says that is pretty good advice, and £7,000 is a win-win situation for Barbara and it is a good deal for both of them. Noel points out that if Barbara does deal and has the £250,000 in her box at the end she will be the shows bigget loser to date, as Tolleck currently has that title.

Barbara says
NO DEAL

Round 5

Banker time
You're loving this now Noel tells Barbara. Noel talks about how Barbara's husband mentioned that £16,000 was the new governor.

Banker's offer:
£19,000

Noel says the Banker had to go that high as he was shaken when Barbara turned down the £7,000. Noel says he thinks that is the kitchen and helping her family. Barbara goes to Alex for some advice, and he says that is a lot of cash and very near the figures they were talking about the other night. Barbara says she is feeling lucky now. She talks about only being here once.

Barbara says
