Rachel's Deal or No Deal Game Report 20/03/11
Rachel has box 16. Rachel is from Devon, and is a civil servant. Her boyfriend Adam is in the audience today. Rachel shows a photo of her with her best friends, a pic of her with her late mum when she was younger and a photo of her with her family on her graduation day. Rachel has 2 bracelets with her which used to belong to her mum, along with her mum's engagement ring which she wears all the time.
Round 1
15 - Tom - £5,000
Newbie Ian next, and Noel has some banter with him about his work in designing sea systems, and the banker phones and says he's the most boring newbie there's ever been. Noel gets Ian to tell the story of how he had an encounter with lions when he was on a safari!
17 - newbie Ian - £50

20 - Aisha - 1p
Noel reveals that Natalie has had 3 proposals of marriage, and she accepted one of them, then cancelled it and sold the ring and went on holiday!
10 - Natalie - £750
Banker time
The banker says he's done some spying at the hotel, and reckons there's something going on between Natalie and Sam.

Rachel reveals that she has MS, and was diagnosed 4 years ago. She says it's only minor and is under control thanks to medication which slows down progression of it.

Noel talks about how Crystal has fought off cancer.
14 - Vera - 10p
Vera reveals her goat friend is called Basil!
Banker time
The banker promises to not mention the story of Natalie and Sam again as it includes details of something that happened with her clothes, then he continues to make reference to it.
Banker's offer:
£12,000
Rachel says she'd like to go away during the winter to get the benefit of somewhere more sunny, to help her health through Vitamin D.

Noel says that was a disgusting round but she still has £50k and £75k.

Jack says she doesn't have a lot to lose if she goes on. He suggests reversing the game and going backwards as that normally works for him! Rachel reveals she had a bit of a system but deviated from it and things went wrong, and gets confused trying to remember what it was. The banker phones and says this is like one of Ian's stories.

The banker says he doesn't think he'd go on here, with little backup on the board.

Rachel says that's a really good offer, and Noel wonders what could happen to the next offer after various scenarios. Paul says that money would provide enough for trips for the next few winters and Rachel says it's loads of money. Paul also says she has a 50% chance of winning £1,000 or more. Rachel says she's worried about taking out the top 3 reds in the next round.
Rachel asks Chris and the banker phones and says Chris is an idiot! He also says he's had a vision that Rachel's game will collapse now, and a vision that her boyfriend learns to comb his hair. He tells Rachel to deal and give her boyfriend a wash! The banker rings back and Rachel's boyfriend talks to him, and he threatens to go and find the banker! He tells him to meet him in the car park in 5 mins. The banker rings back again and says he has a job for Noel in 5 mins!
The offer's changed now...

Rachel asks Chris, who says she'd probably have to go all the way to win much more than £8,000.
