Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Marshall's Deal or No Deal Game Report 08/10/10

Noel says we are hoping that whoever plays today has advanced amnesia and forgets Therese's game yesterday, as her game went downhill from the opening round and she had the cruel round at the end where she hit the 30% chance of hitting that round.

Marshall has box 5 today. Marshall is a retired long distance lorry driver and Noel talks to him about all the types of lorries he has driven. We get to see some of Marshall's family photos.

Noel is shocked that Marshall got a 1p kiss from Gina for revealing the £10,000

The Banker says that Marshall is a smooth operator and has a keen eye for the ladies.

The Banker says he has plenty of fruit, and Faye says she will be there in 5 mins, and the Banker says he has a banana with Faye written on it!

Noel says that Marshall is here for the £250,000, and Marshall says that he doesn't need the money but he has lots of children and grand children that do.

Marshall tries to pick another box before Noel can stop him. The Banker says he is a man of his word and sends out a banana for Faye with her name on it, although as Noel looks at it there are lots of other names written on it all crossed out including Steve's

Marshall remains confident and says the big one is still there. The Banker says that Marshall looks determined to go all the way, although he doesn't believe him.

Marshall says he has never been a gambler in his life as he couldn't afford to be, but this is a totally different situation.

We are slowly approaching our 5th birthday says Noel, and so far only 2 women have won the £250,000, can Marshall be the first male winner? The Banker says that Deal or No Deal is a game of luck and Marshall can take out the £250,000 in a flash and he doesn't believe that Marshall has the luck today.

Banker's offer:

Marshall says that there is only the 10p to shift now. Darren tells Marshall to just take some time and think about this. Marshall asks Anji what his wife would say here, and she thinks his wife would say deal. The Banker calls back and apologises and thought that Marshall would show a sign of dealing at that offer, but it looks as though Marshall is determined. Marshall goes back to Darren and asks him what he would do, and Darren says that if he was playing he would consider going on. Alex tells Marshall that the biggest winners are the biggest gamblers and it is not an easy decision to make.
