Jaron's Deal or No Deal Game Report 31/10/10 - Trick or Treat Special

Happy 5th Birthday Deal or No Deal

Noel welcomes us for the last time to the dark woods. He takes us over to the tree spirit. He reminds us of the Trick or Treat twist this week. There is a Tree Spirit in the corner of the studio that will come into play at 5-box, and the player will choose one of its eyes - one eye has a treat behind it and if they find it, they get a holiday and an offer after every box; the other eye has a trick behind it and if they find it, the banker will look in their box, but they're guaranteed the swap at 2-box!

Jaron has box 15 today. Jaron is from Bognor Regis, and Noel asks where his name comes from and Jaron says that his mum chose it as something a little different. Jaron is a student and shows us some of his artwork. He also shows us a family picture, and has also brought along a box which contains a gift for the banker of a money pot from Bognor Regis.

Round 1

12 - £35,000 John
Jaron says he had a dream he would be left with £35,000 and £75,000, but that won't happen now.

Banker time
That was a good round says Jaron. The Banker says that at 18 Jaron is one of the youngest players on the show, but Jaron corrects him and says that he is 19.

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Jaron says it feels funny that he could say one word and walk away with lots of money, but Noel pleads with his not to deal as it would upset the purists watching and he would have to also fill in a lot of time! He then remains neutral by saying that it is also OK to deal

Jaron says
NO DEAL

Trick or treat time

Noel runs through the Trick or Treat twists, which are: There is a Tree Spirit in the corner of the studio that will come into play at 5-box, and the player will choose one of its eyes - one eye has a treat behind it and if they find it, they get a holiday and an offer after every box; the other eye has a trick behind it and if they find it, the banker will look in their box, but they're guaranteed the swap at 2-box!

Jaron chooses the RED eye

Noel pulls it out of the tree and it has the TRICK

The GREEN eye contains the TREAT

Banker time

Jaron's box is taken away for the Banker to look inside it...

Jaron says he knew that the Banker was telling the truth in Fadi's game. Jaron's box is returned with the Banker's seal on it to show that he has had a look inside. The Banker says he won't lie and there is £3,000 inside Jaron's box.

Banker's offer:
£250

Jaron says he might as well play on if the Banker is telling the truth, and there could also be £15,000 out on the wings and Noel points out that Jaron has the SWAP so he could get it if it is on the wings. Jaron says he isn't going home with £250.

The Banker calls and ups the offer...

Jaron says

Noel now asks Jaron
SWAP or NO SWAP

But the Banker calls and says that before Jaron answers he will tell Jaron that he has to SWAP to win the £15,000.
