Hetty's Deal or No Deal Game Report 27/10/10

Noel welcomes us back to the Dark Woods, and he says the banker isn't enjoying things as much as he was expecting to, as Debs and Christopher both found the Treat and it paid off for them!

Noel reminds us of the Trick or Treat twist this week. There is a Tree Spirit in the corner of the studio that will come into play at 5-box, and the player will choose one of its eyes - one eye has a treat behind it and if they find it, they get a holiday and an offer after every box; the other eye has a trick behind it and if they find it, the banker will look in their box, but they're guaranteed the swap at 2-box!

Hetty has box 4. Hetty is a retired council worker, and she retired 2 years ago at the age of 78! She says she was married to her husband for 50 years but she lost him 6 years ago. We get to see a pic of Hetty with her late sister on her wedding day, and another up-to-date pic of them. Hetty's cousin is in the audience today, and Hetty says she enjoys going on holiday with her, and she'd like to get some money for some more holidays.

Trick or Treat time

Noel runs through the Trick or Treat twists, which are: There is a Tree Spirit in the corner of the studio that will come into play at 5-box, and the player will choose one of its eyes - one eye has a treat behind it and if they find it, they get a holiday and an offer after every box; the other eye has a trick behind it and if they find it, the banker will look in their box, but they're guaranteed the swap at 2-box!

Hetty chooses the GREEN eye

Noel pulls it out of the tree and it has the TRICK

The RED eye contains the TREAT

Banker time
The Tree Spirit's son comes and takes Hetty's box for the banker to have a look in. The box is returned with the banker's seal on it to show he's looked in it!

Noel reminds us that Hetty's guaranteed the SWAP at 2-box, as part of finding the Trick.

The banker says he's being honest, and says Hetty has £1,000 in her box.

Banker's offer:
£3,000

Noel wonders why the banker would buy a £1,000 for £3,000. Bryan reckons that Hetty has a higher amount in it. The banker phones back and says he lied - Hetty actually has £20,000 in her box.

NEW OFFER
Banker's offer:

Banker's offer:

There's no money on offer!

Hetty says what will be, will be. She says she can have a holiday with whatever she wins.

Hetty says
NO SWAP

Noel's about to open Hetty's box when the banker phones. He says he admits that actually she has £3,000 in her box and he's offering the swap again!

Banker's offer:
SWAP

Hetty says
NO SWAP

Hetty says she chose her box, and it's her destiny.

Hetty wins £15,000 from her box 4.

All the other contestants rush over to congratulate Hetty.

Box 20 with Damian contains the £3,000

Hetty says she's going to Vegas with the money!
