Debs Deal or No Deal Game Report 23/02/10

Noel says we've just about dried out after Eddie's game yesterday where his girlfriend constantly cried!! He talks about how Eddie proposed to his girlfriend to raise his offer.

Debs has box 10. Debs is from Bristol and is a receptionist/secretary for her husband's window cleaning business. Debs makes a joke about Noel being dishy, and then introduces her sister and husband Kevin who are in the audience today. She explains that everyone calls him Eddie Charlton. We get to see some pics of her family and friends, and some pics of them on holiday.

Round 1
Debs has no system.
13 - May - £15,000
2 - Roopa - £750
Newbie Brad now, and he says his hands are wet due to meeting a superstar like Noel.

Round 3
Noel asks Debs about the hair salon that she's the receptionist at, and she says a lot of men have chest and back waxes!

8 - Hazel - £50,000
Noel says the significance of that box will become apparent after this next box.
14 - Andrew - £3,000

Banker time
Noel says he thinks this will be a tricky one to call and the banker says the board is a fascinating shape.

Banker's offer:

Noel says that's very good and asks Debs if she wants to gamble or not, and she says she'd have gone on when Eddie dealt.

Debs says

Round 4
16 - Michael - £20,000
5 - Kristi - £10,000
19 - Steve - £5

Banker time
The banker says that was another round of balance. Noel asks Debs what she'd think about an offer of £9,675. He then says what the real offer is.

Banker's offer:

Debs says that would do a lot for them, as they spent a lot of money in the past on supporting their children. Debs' husband points out that she has box 10, which is her son's lucky number. Huddy says that's the average of what people take home but she has a good board and he'd no deal. Debs is about to answer the question when the banker phones. He says he's worried about seeing an all-red 5-box with a gambler in the chair, so he changes the offer.....

Banker's offer:

Debs says this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, which she can't pass up.

Debs says

Round 5
7 - Mark - £500
9 - Brian - £35,000
17 - Aimee - £250

Banker time
Noel says that's a brilliant 5-box and the banker is very nervous now.

Banker's offer:

Debs talks about what her board's like at the moment and the others tell her that it's real money. Huddy says even if she takes out just 1 big value, she'll be offered less than £26k.

Debs says

Round 6 (proveout)
Noel wonders if Debs should've listened to her gambling voice.
12 - Caroline - £100,000
22 - Gaz - 50p
"NO, ooooooohhhhhhhhhhh" says Noel
21 - Huddy - £1,000

Banker time with £5,000 and £75,000 remaining

The banker asks if Debs is a gambler and there are lots of "OOOOOH"s from the audience! She says there's still £5k up there. He says Debs scares him too much to offer the gamble!

Banker's offer would've been:

Noel asks if the gamble had been offered, would Debs have taken it, and she says no it's too much money to risk.

The banker phones back and says in that case................

Banker's offer:

Debs says she's really tempted.

Debs says

She keeps the £26,000.

Debs has £75,000 in her box 10.

Box 15 with Ruth contains the £5,000

Debs says she's chuffed with that and didn't want to risk it.
