Dave's Deal or No Deal Game Report 04/02/10

Noel talks about the remarkable contestants we have on the wings at the moment and says they seemed to have gelled really well and the Banker is having to come up with more and more tactics to try and beat them.

Dave has box 1 today. Dave says his box is quite heavy, he is a technical operator and is the winner of the DoND whitest trainer award Noel asks Dave about his job and he tells us he also helps out a little at a sandwich shop at the weekend. We get to see some of Dave's family photos. Dave also has a picture that his daughter has drawn for him for luck, although he says the goldfish that is drawn on it died a few days ago!

Round 1
19 - 10p Clive
Almost perfect says Noel.
9 - £10,000 Aimee
There was a big groan but Noel says that was OK. Noel has a lot of banter with Joyce who is next.
2 - £250,000 Joyce
Joyce gets really upset with revealing the £250,000
3 - £5,000 Debs
11 - £100 Newbie Eric

Banker time
Noel says that apart from the dramatic moment in the middle of the round that wasn't too bad. The Banker says that Joyce is cruel! He says when he listens to Joyce it sounds like she has been recorded and then played backwards

Banker's offer:

Dave says

Round 2
13 - £35,000 Caroline
That one is worth a groan says Noel.
10 - 1p Chris
Chris runs over to Jean for some breath freshener to prepare for his 1p kiss from Chris.
Noel tries to inject some energy into the game as he thinks Dave is really laid back.
5 - £50 Davey

Banker time
The Banker says he saw a newspaper yesterday and he thinks he saw one of the contestants in it, and Noel says he saw that twerp in the same paper! They then show a picture on the game-board of Davey dressed in suit.

Banker's offer:

Dave says

Round 3
7 - £5 Kevin
16 - £500 Emiliana
4 - £250 Eddie

Banker time
That didn't go your way Noel tells the Banker.

Banker's offer:

Dave turns to his brother-in-law in the audience and he tells Dave there is another round in the game. Dave asks Jean and she says she would deal as she has seen so many games where all the reds start coming out now.

Dave says

Round 4
22 - £1 Yaser
That is 6 blues in a row now says Noel and he wonders if Dave can find another one.
18 - £750 Zoe
Dave asks if he is in a dream. Noel says the record is 9 blues in a row and he wonders if Dave can now enter the hall of fame.
15 - £1,000 Jo

Banker time
You've got to feel happy about that says Noel, and he thinks Dave will have a dilemma now. The Banker is a little worried that Dave says he is willing to gamble and he wants to end this madness

Banker's offer:

Dave says this is one of the most difficult decisions he has had to make. Noel says that all the big winners on the show have had to face a similar decision on the way to their big wins. Dave asks for a sweep of the wings. All apart from Jean say NO DEAL.

Dave says

Round 5
8 - 50p Becca
Big shouts of C'Mon from Dave
17 - £75,000 Justin
20 - £50,000 Linda

Banker time
Oh my word says Noel, that was a sensational start to the round and you just about escaped from the round. The Banker says he has great respect for Dave for declining that last offer.

Banker's offer:

Noel says he thinks that the Banker could have hit Dave much harder than that. Dave says that money could make things so much easier for him, but there are still a couple of really big numbers on the board.

Dave says

Round 6 - Proveout round
14 - £100,000 Kim
Noel says if this is the £20,000 then Dave has produced a Banker spanking! (Think someone needs to pull up Noel on this as he does with the contestants that get it wrong )
12 - £3,000 Jean
21 - £20,000 Gaz

Banker time with £10 and £15,000 remaining

Banker's offer would've been:

Noel opens box 1 and reveals £15,000

Matthew with box 6 contains the £10
