Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Sid's Deal or No Deal Game Report 14/10/09

Noel talks about the Dream factory, but how yesterday it was a bit of a nightmare as Michelle went home with 1p and became the 23rd member of the 1p club... He goes along the wings and talks about the dreams of some of the contestants.

Sid has box 20 today. Noel says Sid had him worried by the way he carried his box to the table Sid is from Northampton and is a retired transport manager. Noel reveals a story about how Sid lost some wheels on a truck when he was in the army! He went for a drink at a pub and came back and the truck was on bricks

Noel points out Owain who is now wearing a shirt that Noel bought for him last night when they went out shopping Owain says it is great what you can get in the pound shops now

Noel says that is the same amount as he spent on Owain's new shirt

Sid uses Mally's law now and picks Carol

Banker time
The Banker has been looking forward to Sid's game, and says that he has a glint in his eyes. He thinks Sid could be trouble as the contestants are all on his side and he has made a lot of friend's while at the studio, but he is going to play dirty with Sid!!!

Noel says that Sid's dream is to buy a cottage by a river to go fishing. Sid says he will invite Aurora down to stay as well

Noel says that Sid didn't seem bothered about the £100,000 going, and Sid replies that he still has the £250,000 in play.

The Banker is still playing dirty!! Noel then adds that there is £10,000 in front of the £80!

Noel says that there is something about Sid's game and he thinks he will do well today.

Noel says that Sid is very focused on the top 3 amounts left in his game, and the Banker agrees. The Banker thinks that Sid is prepared to go all the way today, and the boxes could be in his favour

Sid says he can hear the Banker laughing now... The Banker says that was a massive relief for him.

Sid says that if he could pick off a couple of blues ones the offer would shoot up again and then picks box 11... The Banker calls back and says he prides himself on being a great reader of men and now thinks that Sid might say No Deal now... So he has now upped his offer!

Noel says he didn't have Sid down as a player who would go all the way to the end. The Banker calls back and thinks that Sid has opened the players eyes into how to play the game and has opened a whole can of worms now!
