Nick's Deal or No Deal Game Report 03/11/11 - Bankenstein's Monsters Halloween Special

Nick's game today. Dr Bankenstein (Noel) welcomes us to his laboratory, and starts talking to himself about controlling his twitch! He says he is not a happy man at the moment as his creations haven't been dominating so far, and the catapult has been dominating. He talks about how Bill got so close in getting a brain in the head and we see a video replay of the shot. Noel has a go on the catapult and manages to hit himself!

Halloween Catapult twist: If the player gets to 5-box in live play, they can choose to have 4 shots or 2 shots. If they choose 4, and get 1 in, they win a holiday... if they miss, there's no downside. If they choose 2 shots, and get 1 in, they win a holiday AND get to proceed one box at a time... but the downside is that if they miss, the banker looks in their box.

Nick has box 16 today. Nick is a mobile phone salesman, he says he has been doing it for a couple of years and quite likes it. We get to see some of Nick's photos, one is of his girlfriend who lives in Canada, where she is at the moment. Nick then notices that he has nail varnish on in the photo! There is another photo of Nick with his brother, sister and friends. Nick has his mum and nan in the audience for support. He also has a little buddha for luck.

Round 1

9 - £50 Geoff
2 - 50p Amy
21 - 10p Claudio

Banker's offer:

Nick says

Noel runs through some of Nick's dreams which include a lot of travelling

Round 2
8 - £250 Aaron
4 - £1,000 Rachael
20 - £15,000 Katie

Banker time
The Banker thinks he could be in trouble come catapult time. The Banker shows a replay of Noel trying to use the catapult and hitting himself!

Banker's offer:

Wow says Nick, that is tasty. Noel asks Nick if it is hard to have a girlfriend living in Canada, and he says that it is.

Nick says

Round 3
10 - £5,000 John
1 - £20,000 Jim
11 - £250,000 Janine

Banker time
Noel thinks he might have jinxed that after talking about the first male quarter millionaire, and the Banker laughs at him for the big build up and then the crash!

Banker's offer:

Noel asks if that has deflated Nick a bit, but he replies that it hasn't really

Nick says

Round 4
13 - £10 Pavinder
15 - £35,000 Newbie Nicola
17 - 1p Sam

Banker time
The Banker says that kiss was like a Soft cell video, and now thinks this is a very tricky offer to make.

Banker's offer:

Nick turns to his mum, and she thinks it is a good offer and asks Nick how positive he feels. Nick gets lots of advice from the wings. Nick takes a long time to think over this offer.

Nick says

Round 5 - Proveout round
6 - £3,000 Neville
Who clapped shouts Noel!
- £5 Syrita
7 - £50,000 Caroline

Banker time
That came too late to help says Noel. The Banker says that final box saved Nick from disaster

Banker's offer would've been:

Round 6 - Proveout round
14 - £500 Zoe
Don't do an all-blue round says Noel.
18 - £100,000 George
3 - £1 Nicki

Banker time with £750 and £10,000 remaining

Banker's offer would've been:

Noel wonders if this is one of those rare beasts that is a draw

Noel opens Nick's box 16 and reveals £750

Box 19 with Julie contains the £10,000

Nick says he is feeling very good about that. The Banker then rings back and says that Nick might have beat him but he doesn't get to go on the catapult...

The Banker then has a think and offers Nick the chance to go on the catapult, but it will cost Nick £1,000, but if he wins he will double his win to £20,000.

Nick will get a practice go first.

Nick gets to have his practice go on the catapult, but he misses.

Noel asks Nick what he wants to do...

Nick says he is going for it....

Nick fires the brain but misses...

That was a very good try and worth a go says Noel.

Nick goes home with £9,000.
